18 – Life More Abundantly
Acts 11:18 (NKJV) – When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”
The nation of Israel belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ. When He returns, He will be touching down in Jerusalem, and everything will change for the better! However, God Almighty always intended to use the people of Israel to reach the rest of the world. Jesus’ command was for His disciples to go into all the world, making disciples of nations. He didn’t just come for the descendants of Jacob; He came for all the world.
Declaration: I will go out into the fields because they are ripe for harvest! Jesus is the desire of the nations! I carry within me the hope and the light of the world. As an ambassador for Christ, I will share the gospel and violently drive out the kingdom of darkness! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
GLOBAL COMMISSION
We are living in a world without hope; people are afraid and confused. Even so, you and I as the people of God, are equipped to be hope-dealers and solutions to the world’s problems. Why? Because we know Jesus.
As the cultures and values of the world’s nations grow in wickedness and the pitch black of sin, the Church will shine brighter and brighter. Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

Having entered into the household of faith, we’ve been adopted into the nation of Israel (Romans 111:19-24). So just as Israel was originally tasked with going after the hearts and souls of those who don’t know God yet (Galatians 3:8), we are to be discipling nations. How? The same way Jesus did and commanded His disciples to do. The power of God witnessed in His people! Demonstrations of the goodness of God. We get to be living, breathing signs, miracles and wonders of God going about our Father’s business. You and I are to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers and cast out demons.
This is what Jesus did! This is what the disciples did! This is what we as the Church are to do! So get up! Be an answer! People should look at us and see defiant hope. We can’t be a limp-wristed person in the Kingdom of God. He calls us to be strong and courageous, to do the Kingdom stuff so that the glory of our God would be seen here in the land of the living. Who else does he have to be His hands and feet on earth? What more does He have to do to convince us that there is a cause?
Remember my friends, we are more than able to do what the Lord has entrusted us with. We are overcomers because He has conquered the world. However, we will still go after the people and the nations of the globe because God so loved THE WORLD that He gave King Jesus!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
