TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER

October 15, 2023 – 10/15/2023

Romans 10:15 (NKJV)
And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Romans 10:15 underscores the significance of being sent to proclaim the gospel of peace and good tidings. It beautifully portrays those who carry the message of salvation as bearers of hope and heralds of good news. As we reflect on this verse, let us declare our readiness to be sent, to share the message of God’s peace and salvation with a world in need, recognizing the beauty in being instruments of His grace.

Declaration: We declare today that we are willing and ready to be sent, to take upon ourselves the role of messengers of God’s peace and bearers of glad tidings.

Deuteronomy 10:14 (NKJV)

Indeed heaven and the highest heavens belong to the Lord your God, also the earth with all that is in it.

We catch a glimpse of the immense sovereignty of our God, who possesses not only the heavens and the earth but also everything within them. This truth underlines His divine authority and ultimate dominion over all creation. Just as God anointed leaders like David for specific purposes in advancing His kingdom, we, too, are called to understand the significance of His anointing in our lives.

The distinction between Saul and David provides us with valuable lessons in this regard. Saul, although anointed as king, failed to recognize the divine purpose behind his anointing. He viewed it as a personal gain rather than a means to advance God’s kingdom. In contrast, David understood that his anointing was about God and His glory, not personal ambition. His life was marked by an unwavering commitment to God’s covenant and a deep reverence for His presence.

As we reflect on these differences between Saul and David, let us declare our commitment to emulate the heart of David. May we see God’s anointing as a call to advance His kingdom, valuing His presence above all else. Let us remember that true anointing is not for personal gain but for the glory of God, and it involves a covenant with the Lord that lasts beyond our lifetime. Just as David’s legacy endures, may our lives be marked by a deep relationship with God and an unwavering commitment to advancing His kingdom, one step at a time, in obedience to His call.
