| TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBEROctober 5, 2023 – 10/5/2023Deuteronomy 10:5 (NKJV)Then I turned and came down from the mountain and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are, just as the Lord commanded me.” This is the second time we see Moses with tablets the Lord has given him. God gave him the words not once but twice! Likewise, Paul asks for prayer that he might be given words specifically when he opens his mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news. (Eph.6:19) Are you wondering where your words are? We have been given a voice to proclaim boldly in the moment we need them—the good news. Ask the Lord where the enemy holds your voice captive, and then ask Him for the words in the moment you need them to overcome! Declaration: I declare and decree, I can be bold and take territory for the Lord! I trust the Lord to give me a voice in the moment I need it, even if I need it more than once. I trust you, Lord, with my voice. I can overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony! |
| ShowbreadExodus 25:30 (NKJV)And you shall set the showbread on the table before Me always.Before I knew it, God was speaking about the Showbread. The Showbread represents the miraculous provision of God. We see that in so many examples in the Word. Jesus says He is the Bread of Life! (John 6:35). Did you know that the Showbread had a very specific recipe from God? It was made from the finest flour and laid on a golden table. All week it set out and never grew stale! In fact, the priest ate the bread at the end of the week! I think it is important that we, as God’s children, do not grow stale. The Word says, “Do not get weary in well-doing” (Gal. 6:9). Only certain people knew how to make the bread the right way: the priests! The Word teaches us that we are priests and kings unto our Lord (Rev. 1:6). God has created in you the very provision you will need to use for the coming season (Deut. 8:18). He will bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you. His blessings are upon you, to get you through your tent season, or your white-water rafter season, even your mountain season. Remember who your provider is and feel sure that He has already and miraculously provided for you. He is the way, the truth, and the life! There is a trade here, a place to lay your weaknesses for His strength. I know you are tired. I know that sometimes you have nothing left but allowing Him to hold your hand and breathe into your life… is the hope we need to get through the day! Rest, my friend, in the only arms that can be strong in the face of what you are going through. Your offering made from the “refined flour,” laid on the table, will never grow old or stale.
