TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER – 3/22/2023
Lamentations 3:22 – Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.
Part of the Lord’s grace is His compassion. He blesses you to do all things with excellence. Not flawless, but completely committed to Him. His mercies are personal and new every morning. The Lord is committed to your success. Are you?
Declaration: I will not be consumed with the world. I will call on the mercy of God and I will finish well.
SUSTAINING SALVATION
Let me talk a bit about salvation. You understand that the way you come into salvation is the same way that your salvation is sustained, right? God initiates and we respond.
The only way you became a Believer, the only way you walked in and embraced the gift of eternal life is because God initiated it in the beginning and then you responded. In fact, Jesus says this really cool thing in the last book of the Bible:
“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock…”
He’s initiating something. He’s bringing something to your attention.
“…if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” – Revelation 3:20
So, the same way you get into salvation is the same that salvation is sustained. God initiates and we respond. I guess that makes us first responders! Our purpose in this relationship is to respond to whatever it is He initiates in our lives.
What is God initiating in your marriage or your family? Is He trying to do a new thing in your work or ministry, your health or your financial wealth? Start paying attention and respond.
Remember, we love Him because He first loved us. Respond to His direction, His prompting and His Word. That’s how you sustain your salvation and finish the race.
