TASTE AND SEE
Do you remember the manna that fell from heaven? It was bread that couldn’t be defined or explained. It was supernatural but natural at the same time. Like the Bible foretold, a baby was born in Bethlehem. He was supernatural and natural at the same time – 100 percent God and 100 percent man.
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” – 2 Corinthians 9:15
The name Bethlehem means “house of bread.” That’s pretty profound, isn’t it? That’s a big deal. Why would the Messiah be prophetically called to be born in a city called “the house of bread”? Because He is supernatural and natural at the same exact time and that’s what manna was.
Manna is a type and a shadow for Jesus Christ. It’s something that shows up every single day of your life and you don’t know where it comes from or how it’s even there and your life is good because of that.
“…I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” – John 6:35
Because Jesus is there, you go through things that should kill you, but they don’t because this power of God shows up on a daily basis and manifests. You know how to walk it out, but you don’t know how to explain it to anybody.
Isn’t it amazing how coming to God is what satisfies us, and believing in the Lord is what satisfies our thirst? Taste and see that the Lord is good. Drink deep and know that Jesus is our indescribable gift.
