TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER

Matthew 11:19 – The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is justified by her children.

Jesus had a successful and effective ministry here on earth. But not everyone believed. Not all loved him and surely not everyone approved. King Jesus showed us how to finish well. Don’t worry about the details of how. Stand. Persevere to the end. Keep showing up in the lives of others. It will produce fruit.

Declaration: I will not give up or take off my eyes of Jesus too early. I will finish well the assignments God has entrusted me with.

Sowing Into Fatherhood

When I tell you I’ve been a part of rescuing over 10,00 girls and boys from sex trafficking worldwide since 2016, that’s not me being a good man or even a good dad. That’s me sowing into fatherhood. I know for a fact that because I sow into the harvest field, people around me sow into my kids.

My kids all love Jesus. They’ve married well and are good parents, but not because I’m the greatest daddy. That’s God Almighty blessing me for sowing into orphans and other people’s kids. Did you know you can actually sow into fatherhood?

“But Pastor Troy, how in the world can I sow into fatherhood when I didn’t have a good daddy?”

Glad you asked. You sow into fatherhood within your generations when you see the Lord as your Father and begin to take on his characteristics. You sow into fatherhood when begin to look through that lens that says, “Every kid needs a kind word, a pat on the back or rescued from something.”

My friend was a teacher and coach. His own parents were divorced. He rarely got to see his daddy and his step-father was a trip! When my friend met his Heavenly Father at the age of 32, he knew he was loved and accepted. He was so secure in God’s love that he gave away the farm to his his own kids, his students and players.

Every kid had cleats and clothes. There was always room for one more in his truck, at the dinner table or on the family couch. He spoke life into those kids who didn’t have a good earthly father and that man showed them the love of the Heavenly Father until the day he died. You know what? God Almighty honored that man by making sure his own kids knew His love.

That’s sowing into fatherhood–motherhood too. You loving other kids like Father God and letting them know they have value. You’ll find your own kids not only understand you love them, but other Godly people will pour the love of the Father into them until they begin to demonstrate the Father, just like you did.

The Lord is like a father to his children, tender and compassionate to those who fear him. – Psalms 103:13
