TODAY’S PROPHETIC NUMBER

The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way aright, but the wicked will fall by his own wickedness. – Proverbs 1:5

It takes commitment and courage to be a person of integrity and honesty. These traits are highly rewarded in heaven and honored by God. Heaven is full of brave, selfless people who choose not to follow the crowd.

Declaration: I will not be part of the chaos and wickedness of this world. I will walk in honesty trusting the Lord to direct my path.

Bishop of Your Soul

Six represents man: “the soul man”–your flesh. Six isn’t all bad. It also represents the spirit-man revived and led by the Holy Spirit. Your soul is all about survival, but your spirit is about you being an overcomer. Your soul is that brute beast you operate in apart from the Spirit of the living God. This is the mess of your humanity the Spirit steps into freely and willingly.

Now, King Jesus isn’t mad at you for being human. He made you that way. He expects you to serve Him, love and obey Him, but you don’t have to run away from your humanity. Hallelujah to that.

But let’s also recognize we can’t keep living like we’ve been. Our soul-man has to be “bishoped” by the Good Shepherd. He’s here to help us “course correct.” It’s His job to change our lens from flesh to spirit.

That’s the journey we’re on. So, let’s keep up with Him. He says this in Galatians:

“This I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. – Galatians 5:16-18

The Spirit’s left you an open invitation to His counsel and wisdom now that you’re His. It’s almost a dare.

The best thing you can do when you have a passion that’s out of control is to run to King Jesus with it. He’s not going to be surprised or horrified. He’s going to say, “I want to jump into that. Will you trust me with that?”

Do you have a mess you need to bring to Jesus? He loves to do the dirty work if it will deliver you. Do you know someone in a mess? Bring them to Jesus. Love that person into the Kingdom. Today is the day to let Jesus be the bishop of your soul.

“For you were like sheep going astray but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls.” – 1 Peter 2:25
