The book of Philippians is written to the believers in Philippi. They where greatly persecuted to the point that many were dispersed and running for their lives. They had to leave their home, their livelihood, and family because of their faith in Jesus.

Philippians 4 — — full of transformational scriptures which are keys which unlock transformational living.

Vs 4 – Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say Rejoice

Vs 6 – Don’t worry

Vs 7 – Peace of God will guard your heart and mind

Vs 9 – God of Peace will be with you

Vs19 – My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches

There is one scripture that I believe releases us to be extraordinary, supernatural—an overcomer—to go after the atmosphere of Heaven, walk in signs miracles and wonders, and to break free from the mistakes of the past.

How many want to live at a level that you begin to live and function above your situation or circumstance? How many would like to tap into and upgrade?

To live a life of Victory, to have great Success in the natural and in the Supernatural, to be an Overcomer, to be more than a Conqueror, to live out the power of a transformed mind

Philippians 4:13 

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Say it with me. This scripture shows us the potential of living out the transformation that Jesus intends for all of us to have.

It all starts with our minds, how we think.

Proverbs 23:7 (TPT)

For as he thinks within himself, so is he.

The power of transformed thinking.

You have to learn to think right. What you FOCUS on, you give POWER to.

In the same power-packed chapter, Paul says,

Philippians 4:8 (TPT)

So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always.

Philippians 2:5 (KJV)

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.

We need to learn to think the way Jesus does. We honestly have to work at having a right mind.

Romans 12:2  (TPT)

Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.

It’s a choice to experience this life through an optimistic perspective. It’s a choice to be a positive thinker.

The difference between a positive thinker and a negative thinker is how we learn to handle self-talk.

Part of the challenge of self-esteem, part of the challenge of finding out and discovering our identity, part of the challenge of learning how to love ourselves, part of the challenge of thinking positively is dealing with the self talk that goes on in our head.

There has been studies from psychologists that discuss self-talk and self-love. The research shows that if you’re alive, you’re involved in self talk. In other words, you talk to yourself. This research says you talk to yourself more than you talk to anybody else. 

We speak to our selves 9,000 to 50,000 words every day. 9000 is the men. 50,000 is the women.

Psychologist tell us that 80% of our self-talk is negative and it’s destructive. We have an enemy. In fact, Revelation 12 talks about “the accuser” and this accuser accuses us day and night before the Father. Many of God’s children struggle with self-esteem, Identity and believing the Father’s heart and love toward us. When we allow these negative thoughts to linger and take root in the soil of our minds, we begin to embrace the accuser’s revelation of ourselves. We begin to struggle even liking ourselves.

Does any of this sound familiar? What we are doing is partnering with the negative thoughts that bombard our minds day in and day out. 

That’s self-talk. Why is that self talk? We are breeding the accuser’s the devil’s revelation into our souls because we don’t like ourselves and we are embracing his commentary on us by not believing God’s commentary about us. 

When we learn to have the mind of Christ, when we learn to renew our minds, when we learn to transform our minds, then we learn to reject the enemy’s commentary—the negative thoughts about ourselves. We jump into what God says about us and we learn to love ourselves. 

We say, “No! I am a child of the King. I am a son of God. I am the beloved. I am the one he created. I am washed in the blood of Jesus Christ and, by the way, have a new heart and new mind. I am a new creation. I have a brand new nature. His righteousness has been downloaded into me. He lives in me. I live in him and I stand before God the Father has justified.

To have a transformed mind is to tap into the positive even when all you can see is negative. How many times have you found yourself in this place? Situation after situation: 

Not enough money to make ends meet 

Lose your job

Broken Relationships

Car breaks down, AC goes out

A sickness or health issue pops up

Problem after problem. Then add a circumstance and a situation. It all seems everything is crashing in on you. Negative, negative, negative. How can you and I walk with a transformed mind?

I CAN – Make A Resolution 

So much of us discovering and stepping into our true identity is believing. It’s believing what the Father is saying about who we are and who we are becoming. It’s having faith. It’s tapping into the potential of who He says we are and beginning to think that way. 

We have to believe before we can walk in upgrade; Believe to achieve: 

                                    Believe to get the blessing

Believe then comes the anointing

Believe for healing

Believe to receive provision

Believe to walk in forgiveness

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Transformation starts with a concept, a belief, an idea that originates in what the Father says about us and what His heart is toward us. 

Transformation is modeled. Jesus exemplified this by only doing what He saw the Father doing, and what the Holy Spirit continues to Reveal.

We can have victories. 

We can overcome.

We can be set free from addiction.

We can have upgrade.

We can be healed.

We can get back what we lost or was stolen.

We can succeed.

We can live a blessed life.

We can __________ what would you put in that blank?

You have to believe. What is it that you want from God? What is the desire of your heart? Believe. Attach faith to it. Apply the possibility that nothing is impossible with Jesus.

Hebrews 11:1 (TPT)

Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.

Say with me, “ I can.” Make a Prophetic Resolution

Now say “Do all things”

“DO ALL THINGS:” Be Ready to Walk Out Your Faith 

There are many who talk about what they believe—their faith. Now, it’s time to put some action to it.

To become what you believe requires work.

You can’t just sit on your butt and expect things to happen.

The Father didn’t create us just be a sponge and consume. He made a conduit to let out what we receive and for that to flow through us to others. 

How many in the church love Knowledge and Understanding but don’t tap into Wisdom? Wisdom is actually putting all that’s in your head and your heart, and moving it to your hands and feet. 

Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV)

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 4:11-12 (TPT)

And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers.12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ.

John 14:12-13 (NIV)

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Matthew 10:7-8

And as you go, preach this message: ‘Heaven’s kingdom realm is accessible, close enough to touch.

You must continually bring healing to lepers and to those who are sick,  and make it your habit to break off the demonic presence from people,  and raise the dead back to life. Freely  you have received the power of the kingdom, so freely release it to others.

And as you go, preach this message: ‘Heaven’s kingdom realm is accessible, close enough to touch.’

Love is an action; When God said He loved the world He followed up by doing something: He gave His only begotten Son.

That means there’s something to do. James said, “Faith without works is dead. Jesus said, “!f you love me, keep my commandments.”

Our Father is a God of action. He told the disciples to go, live; not just believe, not just have faith, and to not just receive. A lot of Believers are just sitting and waiting for his return. Jesus said “Occupy until I come. Do business.” 

Look at many of the miracles recorded in the Bible. They took action (feeding 5000, Jericho, Peter walking on the water, the woman who had the issue of blood, Elijah and the widow, Moses, Aaron, Hur and Joshua fighting, the catching of the 153 fish).

There is something to do. 

So, I have to ask you believers who make up the Church: Where are you serving? Do you volunteer in a specific ministry? What fruit are you producing? “Well, Jerry. I’m just too busy.” That’s not the right answer. We all have a Kingdom assignment. You and I were created for a purpose. And the moment you and I got saved, we were given the Holy Spirit and He came with gifts for us to use as we minister.

The only thing you will do that will outlast you is serve and do Kingdom assignments. You can greet, serve in children’s or youth, media, coffee bar, security and parking, usher, prayer teams, alter teams, teach, help cook team, food bank—what is it that he Father has specifically created you for? “Through Christ who strengthens me”: We must Rely on Jesus Christ

When we get Jesus involved, ALL things are possible. Without Him the impossible stays impossible.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power (Jesus) that is at work within us,

looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith…

He is the Power – Dynamos  – Dynamite

He is our Strength…..The joy of the Lord is our strength.

DO ALL THINGS: hands & feet, action, work; serving, volunteering in ministry, giving, fighting the good fight 

THROUGH CHRIST: foundation; force, fuel, funnel that God moves through.

through Christ – power 

“I can do all things.” That’s walking in Principle

Through Christ. That’s walking in His Presence,

What can you do through Christ?

Live an anointed life.

Live victorious today and can be free from the past of yesterday.

Receive a 100-fold blessing.

Walk in the healing love of Jesus. 

See salvation come to your entire family.

Provide for your family.

Be a powerful witness.

Reach our city

Rescue girls and boys that are trafficked 

Love your enemies

Do good to those who do evil

Light in the darkness

Be a powerful giver –

Break addictions.

You can be a deliverer.

Take your negative thoughts captive…What we FOCUS on, we give our POWER to.

Walk in favor

We can see Signs, Miracles and Wonders

Live abundantly 

Resist the devil

Make a difference

A great husband, wife, daddy, momma, son, daughter.

You can have eternal life. You can go to Heaven. You can trust in Jesus.
