Pastor Troy Brewer, OpenDoor Church, Burleson, TX

The expression is related to real estate. When investing in real estate, there are three things that comprise the most important considerations. What are those three essential considerations? LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION. It is hyperbole. The point is, location is so vital to real estate, it takes up the top three spots on the list of things you must consider.

“LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION”

is also a KINGDOM principle

This year, God is highlighting the importance of unity and stewarding your proximity when it comes to right relationships.

Who you stand next to is huge in this hour we are living in.

Israel, land of the Bible and the historic homeland of the Jewish people, is situated in the Middle East, along the eastern coastline of the Mediterranean Sea. It forms part of a land bridge linking three continents: Asia, Africa and Europe.

From there, the apostles could could go north, south, east and west, and carry the Gospel and the Good News of Jesus to everyone everywhere on the earth.

Being at the right place and the right time with the right heart is everything in the Kingdom when it comes to being in synch with God

Your IDENTITY, PURPOSE and ASSIGNMENT

is who God created you to be, what you are supposed to do, what you are supposed to be part of. The WHERE and WHEN is crucial to the effectiveness of that calling.

We have to make sure we are partnering with God in the timing of things–especially being at the right place among the right people.

Location. Location. Location.

Quantum mechanics:

About 80 years ago, scientists discovered it is possible to be in two locations at the same time — at least for an atom or a subatomic particle, such as an electron. For such tiny objects, the world is governed by a madhouse set of physical laws known as quantum mechanics. At that size range, every bit of matter and energy exists in a state of blurry flux, allowing it to occupy not just two locations but an infinite number of them simultaneously.

God can be in lots of different places at the same exact time. Here, there, now, later and way back when, all at the same time.

Psalm 139:7-10“Where can I go from Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in the depths, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there Your hand will guide me, Your right hand will hold me fast.”

Jeremiah 23:23-24 God said, “‘Am I only a God nearby,’ declares the Lord, ‘and not a God far away? Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?’ declares the Lord. ‘Do not I fill heaven and earth?’ declares the Lord.”

The Omnipotence, Omniscience, and Omnipresence of God:

Omni means “all powerful”

Omnicron  variant: “Cron” mean means “Highest God”

Omicron, not omnicron, and it’s not supposed to have two Ns.

The 15th letter of the Greek alphabet.

They skipped all the letters from D-Delta and jumped 11 letters O in order to do this.

OMNIPOTENCE

Scripture affirms God’s omnipotence by saying He does whatever He is pleased to do.

Psalm 115:3But our God is in heaven; He does whatever He pleases.

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Psalm 147:5 Great is our Lord, and abundant in power; his understanding is beyond measure.

Luke 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God.”

Jeremiah 32:17‘Ah, Lord God! It is you who have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm! Nothing is too hard for you.’

Revelation 19:6 Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.”

He is not subject to man or to governments. He’s not subject to time, distance, matter or any rule. He is God and He is all powerful.

God alone is omnipresent.

God alone is omniscient.

Hebrews 4:13 – “And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.”

Psalm 33:13-15 “The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men; from His dwelling place He looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth, He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works.”

Psalm 139:1-4 “O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, You know it all.”

God has full disclosure.

Because God is omniscient, He has perfect knowledge of what we need for any given day.

God has simple solutions for complicated issues.

Because God has perfect knowledge of what tomorrow will bring, He is able to provide for us today.

Omni-presence

“On me” (manifest) presence

The story of Christmas brings to bear the reality that God is not just there, God is actually right here. Right now. He is willing and seeking to be involved in absolutely everything our lives are involved in.

THE DEFIANT HOPE OF CHRISTMAS IS THAT

GOD IS WITH US.

Immanuel. God is with us. This is the miracle of Christmas.

Matthew 1:23“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

What God had promised through the prophet Isaiah in 7:14

came true on a cold night in Bethlehem. Forevermore, we could hold fast to the promise that we don’t have to face this life alone.

On the happy days. On the difficult days. On the days when we don’t even know how to put one foot in front of the other…. God is with us.

If we hold this to be true, why are we so quick to do things on our own?

In humble adoration, we keep Jesus in the manger, or maybe on the cross.

WE CAN’T KEEP JESUS IN THE MANGER OR ON THE CROSS!

We forget His resurrection and that He wants to live within us and walk beside us.

We miss the miracle of Christmas when we don’t invite “God with us” into our daily lives. Tweet this!

We miss the miracle of Christmas when we don’t invite “God with us” into every decision, every conversation, every situation of our daily lives. We truncate the influence and impact we can have as leaders when we forget to let Jesus take the lead.

God is with us.

This Christmas, I’m acutely aware that life often brings circumstances we are ill-equipped to handle on our own. My friend and her daughters are broken, and there’s nothing I or anyone else can do to fix it.

But she tells me that with every waking day, she’s reminded of God’s presence in their lives. He has never once left their side. God is with them.

May we all be so bold as to claim this miracle of Christmas. Through Jesus, there is peace, hope, joy and love available to all of us, regardless of the circumstances, if only we’ll allow Him to take the lead.

Immanuel. God is WITH us. Let’s live and lead as if we believe that, now and the whole year through.
