TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I Am the Lord of the Harvest. You are simply farmers. It is your responsibility to plant a crop that will produce fruit. My responsibility is to harvest it. Don’t ruin a good crop trying to pull up the weeds. I will deal with them in My timing and wisdom.

LEAVE THE WEEDS

Any time the Bible says, “the Kingdom of heaven is like,” it means, this is what it looks like when somebody is bringing the King’s dominion into their life. They’re going to begin to experience God right now. Just like the sower in this parable:

“The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while his men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’  But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” – Matthew 13:24-30

The word ‘tares’ means weeds and stickers. The owner of the field is God Almighty, and we are the servants. Why is it when all hell breaks loose, we servants blame Him (vs. 27)? Admit it. When really bad stuff happens, don’t we look up in the sky and ask, “Why, God?” Know this: God did not bring the weeds and stickers into your life. The enemy did (vs. 28). That’s a great Word for the Body of Christ today.

Your job is to see to it that God gets a harvest from you. You are not a “Holy Ghost weed-puller.” Your job is not to look into people’s lives and say, “I’m here to pull out all your weeds, praise God!” It is the job of Jesus Christ to pull the weeds. And I want you to catch this, He doesn’t pull the weeds until you produce a harvest.

Many of us live our entire life with so many weeds. Since we won’t produce a harvest, the Lord never removes those things from us. Listen, we are not to be weed-pullers. We are to be fruit-bearers. The Church has got this all wrong. It’s like Christ is saying, “Don’t make it all about the weeds. Make it about the fruit. I’ll take care of the weeds.”

Jesus spoke in parables to those who might not otherwise understand, kinda like what I do. Would you get up here and do my job? I would not do yours. Let’s keep to our own jobs and leave the weeds to Him. We do not want to uproot the crop before the harvest.
