In 1831, George and Charles Merriam founded the company as G & C Merriam Co. in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1843, after Noah Webster died, the company bought the rights to An American Dictionary of the English Language from Webster’s estate. All Merriam-Webster dictionaries trace their lineage to this source.

Noah Webster is the father of the American education. Unlike his illegitimate children who run the system today, he was very much for the Bible being taught as the standard for how to communicate and how to live.
His 1828 American Dictionary contained the greatest number of Biblical definitions given in any reference volume. Webster said of education,
“Education is useless without the Bible. The Bible was America’s basic text book in all fields. God’s Word, contained in the Bible, has furnished all necessary rules to direct our conduct.”
– Noah Webster

Webster released his own edition of the Bible in 1833, called the Common Version. He used the King James Version (KJV) as a base and consulted the Hebrew and Greek along with various other versions and commentaries. Webster molded the KJV to correct grammar and replaced words that were no longer used.

Webster helped found the Connecticut Society for the Abolition of Slavery in 1791.

Definition of Influence
1: the power or capacity of causing an effect in indirect or intangible ways: SWAY
2: the act or power of producing an effect without apparent exertion of force or direct exercise of command

The responsibility of influence.

You are responsible for what influences you:
Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

Ahab was so influenced by Jezebel, His anointing was worthless to the Kingdom.

Solomon was so influenced by his political wives and their allies that he didn’t walk the fullest extent of his walk even though he was smartest and the richest man ever.

1 Kings 11:4
For when Solomon was old, his wives turned his heart away after other gods; and his heart was not wholly devoted to the Lord his God, as the heart of David his father had been.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18 tells us not to be bound or heavily influenced by unbelievers:

The kingdoms that you submit to are the kingdoms that make an impact upon you.
James 4:7
Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

The fear of the Lord is when you love what God loves and you hate what God hates. The fear of the Lord is when you let God’s heart and God’s purposes influence you more than anything else.

You are responsible for who and how you influence others.

We are called to be a people of consequence.

Though you and I might be ordinary people, the influence we have on others should not be minimal in any way.

Matthew 5:13-16
“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.”

the Bible refers to our influence as “your salt and your light”
Salt has to do with the dominating flavor in the meal you are eating. The thing that influences the taste of what you’re eating and makes you want more of it.
If you shoot a wild turkey and eat it on the spot, you had better bring a bunch of salt or you might not be able to eat it. It’s not a Butter Ball turkey it’s a wild turkey.
From region to region, the same dish tastes completely different depending upon how it is seasoned. Gravy in India (curry) is way different than gravy in the Pacific Northwest. It’s always based upon the food and the spices that are mostly available in the region.

Louisiana food is way different from Texas food. They have completely different food cultures.
Just like that, if Christians do not have a strong influence or saltiness in the education system, the culture of our schools becomes humanist and marxist.

Just like that, if if our political culture is not strongly influenced and flavored by Christians who love Jesus with a biblical world view, then the dish we are served will force us to swallow socialism, restrictions of liberty and abortion on demand.
GOD & POLITICS
Christians, rise and be “salty.”

When you fight for the kingdom in the end times, your engagement in the fight intersects with Geopolitics.

You have to bring your salt into political arena.

Supporting Israel is not just theological, it’s also political.
The anti-Christ will have a cashless money system.
No borders from country to country
One world government
One world religion
Control over the narrative of everything where they call good evil and evil good. Truth is cast down in the streets.
It will be against the law throughout the entire world to be a Bible-believing Christian. That’s a political issue.

In the tribulation, When you submit to the antichrist, you come into alignment with the kingdom of hell by being politically aligned with the devil’s agenda and not with God’s heart and the Kingdoms agenda.
And that’s how it is in the great tribulation, people will sell their souls and become the enemy of God himself by how they align themselves politically.
There will be people in those days who will say they are Christian but will accept the mark of the beast.
They will say they are Christians but will turn in true Christians who worship Jesus and don’t drink the antichrist’s political Koolaid.
They will say they are Christian but still go to war against Israel and when Jesus returns, wipes them out in defense of Israel and stands them before the throne for judgment.

Matthew 7:22-23
Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

For all my haters who tell me I’m way too political, this is what I say to you.

I am too much into King and Kingdom not to be political.

IT IS IRRESPONSIBLE TO BUILD A NATION BASED ON THE BIBLE AND GODLY PRINCIPLES, THEN TURN IT OVER TO THE ENEMIES OF GOD SAYING, “RELIGION AND POLITICS DON’T MIX.” THEY MUST GO TOGETHER!

I can’t engage in standing with God in end time prophecy without being engaged in endtime geo-politics.

There are people right now who say they are Christians and still support abortion.
There are people right now who say they are Christian and promote anarchy and the defunding of our police.

There are people right now who say they are Christians and support no borders, no freedom, no justice, no history, and will call the law if they find you worshipping where some political Marxist will not allow it here in the United States of America. The proof of how their heart in not in alignment for Jesus is in how they engage themselves politically.

They have bowed on their feeble knees and stretched out their limp-wristed hand in order to pander to a socialist, Marxist, anti-Christ agenda. Because they might get in trouble or they might get shamed.

But the other part of that scripture on influence was not just salt it was also light

Matthew 5:16
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house”

INFLUENCE: an ethereal fluid held to flow from the stars and to affect the actions of humans
You are a star!
