TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

I Am pouring out My spirit on all people in these last days. Listen to My voice and prophesy what you hear. Commit to My leading and you will have the wisdom to dream dreams and understand what I Am speaking to your heart.

THE MARK OF MATURITY

What makes you mature in the spirit? Let me tell you this: it is not the accumulation of the experiences you’ve have. A mature spirit has to do with your commitment to being mature, or grown-up, in the spirit.

You see, God marks you at the place of commitment. That’s why He counted Abraham as having sacrificed his son, Isaac, even though he didn’t go through with the act.

But the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.” He said, “Do not lay your hand on the boy or do anything to him, for now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your son, your only son, from me.” – Genesis 22:11-12

Abraham was completely committed to obeying God and God always pays attention to our heart.

See, God will test you to see if you’re on the same page. He wants to know you trust Him and will follow Him to your great big destiny. When that test comes, your level of commitment will determine how much Kingdom responsibility God can give you.

The more committed you are, the more gifts the Holy Spirit can unleash in you – like dreaming. God doesn’t speak to immature Christians through dreams because they don’t understand them. Heck, they don’t even recognize their dreams as messages from God. That’s why the Bible says in Acts 2:17 that “your old men shall dream dreams.” It’s talking about maturity.

But a mature Christian can be trusted to recognize the voice of the Lord and go after interpreting their dream or vision.

Feel like you’re not moving forward – that you’re stuck in the wilderness eating manna when you want meat? Take inventory of your commitment. If you’re not going after Jesus and prophetic revelation in a big way, you’ve got some growing up to do.
