TODAY’S PROPHETIC THOUGHT

Today is the day to rebuild broken relationships. Unity is a conduit for power, and broken relationships break the flow of power. Ask the Holy Spirit how to proceed. Don’t put it off.

ONE IN THE SPIRIT

When it comes to diversity, the Church needs to have a different spirit. Can you love and bless people, and have a Kingdom agenda toward folks who don’t look or worship like you?

God loves diversity and hates division within the tribe.

While I’m talking about the races, I’m also talking about the church. The Baptists don’t like the Methodists. The Methodists disagree with the Pentecostals. The Pentecostals can’t stand the Church of Christ and the Church of Christ has to hate everybody. That’s just what we’re going to do. We’re loyal to our tribe.

Let me tell you this: you can be loyal to your tribe without hating the other tribes. There’s nothing wrong with celebrating your tribe and its traditions. Unity makes us a conduit for God’s power while division makes us impotent. Ouch!

When advancing God’s Kingdom, we need to be intentional about unity in the Body of Christ.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement, give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus. – Romans 15:5

If you grieve the Spirit of Unity, you will always have problems with endurance and encouragement.

There are a lot of people on Prozac who can’t ever hang. They can’t get along with anybody because they have no sense of unity. Negative people, grumblers and naysayers drive wedges because they lack a spirit of unity.

OpenDoor Church, we need to have a different spirit. I declare this tribe is not going to grieve the Spirit of Unity! We will not fall out or lose focus! Our vision is clear and our assignment – to glorify the Father by bringing the lost to Jesus – is certain.

Are you with me?

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY TO HAVE A DIFFERENT SPIRIT THAN THE WORLD. GO AFTER A SPIRIT OF UNITY AND WATCH YOUR WALK BE TRANSFORMED!
