New Beginnings Conference Night 3 – Faith

FAITH COMES BY HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD OF GOD – Romans 10:17

The more you increase in the word, the more your potential to  increase in hearing. The more you increase in hearing, the more potential you have for greater faith.

GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU, RIGHT NOW, A WORD THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING.

It is a word in direct contrast to what the world is saying and we must develop a huge value for the voice of God.

A HIGHER VALUE HIS VOICE

Premise: Logic, a proposition supporting or helping to support a conclusion.

PREMISE 1 – GOD IS SPEAKING CLEARLY TO ALL OF US RIGHT NOW.

Every Christian can and must hear God speak prophetically.

PREMISE 2  – WITHIN EVERY WORD GOD GIVES TO HIS CHURCH CORPORATELY, THERE IS A  WORD FOR YOU INDIVIDUALLY.

The word of God is singular and plural at the same exact time.

Within every word that everybody has access to, coded within the DNA of that word, is AN INDIVIDUAL WORD SPECIFICALLY FOR YOU.

• Or another example of plural/singular combination that doesn’t even use a pronoun is Matthew 5.8: Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.
• “the pure in heart” is both a singular and a plural noun and doesn’t even have a pronoun before it.
• That’s not just how scripture works. That’s how the Word of God works.
• With every corporate word there is something individually tailored for you, and when you receive it that word comes with a brand new power for break through. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the church founded upon this rock.
• For every personally tailored word that comes to you, when you give your testimony and preach your word to the masses, it will affect people differently at different levels. 

What did God speak to the seven churches in revelation?

What is God speaking to the church of America?

What did God speak to the world through the events of 9:11 or the Titanic?

What did God speak through the violent death of Princess Diana or the Steve Harvey debacle and the consequent Academy Awards?

God loves it when people become fanatics about hearing him and going after his heart.

Psalms 84:5 – Blessed is the man whose … heart is set on pilgrimage.

Luke 6:38 – “For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Matthew 5:6 – Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.

PREMISE 3 – GOD IS NOT LIMITED TO THE VOICES THAT CARRY HIS WORD OR THE MEANS OF DELIVERY FOR HIS WORD.

God is not limited in any way whatsoever to any one form of delivery.

Thirteen ways God might be speaking to you now: 

1. Through circumstances & timing     
2. Through thoughts
3. Counsel
4. Cultural events
5. Peace                              
6. Supernatural manifestations
7. People    
8. The Bible
9. Dreams & visions                
10. A whisper
11. Numbers
12. The weights and measure of things
13. Physics and science

GREAT EXAMPLE OF THIS:

• The first Sunday of January there were 1919 people here.
• The second Sunday there were 1919 people here.
• The first night of the conference, the digits in the massive offering we took up were $43,249 add that and it is 19.
• There were 818 people. That’s Deuteronomy 8:18 – God gives wealth and He is the keeper of covenants through our generations.

AND IN ORDER TO GET INTO DREAM INTERPRETATION WERE GOING TO HAVE TO GET INTO DISCERNING THE WORD OF GOD THROUGH MULTIPLE WATERS OF VOICES THAT CARRY THE WORD 

IF THAT WERE A DREAM, WHAT WOULD IT MEAN?

IN ORDER TO GET INTO THAT, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO LOOK AT THE HEAVENLY LANGUAGE OF SYMBOLS AND PARABLES.

AND IN ORDER TO LOOK IN THE SYMBOLS AND PARABLES, WE FIRST HAVE TO LOOK AT HOW GOD SPEAKS, AND WHY WE NEED TO DEDICATE OUR LIVES TO PURSUING HIS WORD AND GOING AFTER HIS HEART.

PREMISE 1  – GOD IS SPEAKING CLEARLY TO ALL OF US RIGHT NOW.

Every Christian can and must hear God personally speak to them. 

EVERYTHING ABOUT PROPHECY IS OFFENSIVE. 

Matthew 16:17-18 – Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

IT’S BEDROCK CHRISTIANITY.

One of the things that I can’t waste time about is the issue of if God is speaking or not.

God is speaking and its not the ceiling. It’s the floor. It is not the advanced part of walking with God. It is, in fact, a very FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLE 

Hebrews 6:1 – [The Peril of Not Progressing] Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God…

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. Jeremiah 33:3

Amos 3:7 –Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. 8 The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?

Numbers 11:29 – …would God that all the LORD’S people were prophets…

1 Corinthians 14:1, 31 & 39 – Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy… 31 For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. 39  Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy…

And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21

Mark 4:24 – And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you.”

But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!” Luke 11:28

John 10:27 – My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.

Matthew 16:17

Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

The power to possess breakthrough comes from hearing the word of God.

The church whose foundation is built upon personal revelation of Jesus Christ by the mouth of God Himself is the church with breakthrough power.

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the father.

YOUR ABILITY TO GET PAST THE ENEMY’S BARRIERS (the gates of hell)  IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO YOUR ABILITY TO HEAR GOD SPEAK. 

…and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

THAT DOESN’T JUST MEAN THE CHURCH IS INVADING HELL. It means Heaven is invading earth.

Hearing God speak and obeying what God is telling you gives you authority to bust through things.

Heaven really invades earth when we hear God speak and obey His voice.

I AM GOING TO GIVE YOU FIVE MISUNDERSTOOD AREAS THAT MUST BE CONFRONTED AND FIVE AREAS WE NEED TO HAVE WISDOM IN – THE FIVE OFFENSES OF HEARING GOD SPEAK:

1. JUST BECAUSE GOD IS SPEAKING DOES NOT MEAN YOU KNOW IT.

Job 33:14  – For God speaks once, yet twice, yet man perceives it not.

IF YOU HEARD GOD SPEAK DO YOU THINK THAT YOU WOULD KNOW IT?

Psalms 18:13  – The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

In 1 Kings 19, Elijah experienced an incredible wind, a violent earth quake and a horrific fire but he didn’t get scared until he heard the still, small voice.

God does speak in a whisper, but the conditions to hearing the still small voice is that you have to get still and you have to get small.

WE ARE JUST TOO BUSY AND TOO LOUD TO HEAR WHAT GOD IS  LITERALLY  BROADCASTING TO THE WHOLE WORLD.

Spiritual truths may be conveyed in everyday terms with which all are familiar.

In John chapter 12 …..SOME SAID IT THUNDERED

2. JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU UNDERSTAND IT.

Proverbs 25:2– It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

Psalms 78:2 – I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

TERRIBLE PARABLES

THERE IS A BLESSING IN GETTING IT AND IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO SEEK JESUS, HE IS NOT Willing TO LET YOU IN ON THE BLESSING.

THE PRINCIPLE BEHIND PARABLES

Romans 1:20 – For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse…

REBELLION IS THE REASON GOD SPEAKS IN TYPES AND SHADOWS AND TYPOLOGY AND SYMBOLS

Take a good look at Matthew 13:13 and see why the Lord had to speak in parables then and why He still does today.

Matthew 13:13 – Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Matthew 13:13 (International Children’s Bible) – This is why I use stories to teach the people: They see, but they don’t really see. They hear, but they don’t really understand.

The word goes out to everybody, but the word is not for everybody.

DID YOU CATCH IT THAT ITS 13:13? THAT’S THE NUMBER FOR REBELLION.

• The word rebel is found in 13 verses throughout the Bible.
• Judas Iscariot has 13 letters
  There are 13 lepers in the Bible There are 13 drunks in the Bible The word carnal appears 13 times The word treason appears 13 times The word dragon appears 13 times
• If you really want to see rebellion illustrated Biblically through the number 13, you need look no further than the 13 words in the 13th verse of the 13th Chapter of the very first book in the Bible.

Genesis 13:13 – But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.

REBELLION IS WHEN YOU DEMAND THE BENEFITS OF THE KINGDOM WITHOUT THE KING

YOU LOVE THE THINGS THAT GOD OFFERS BUT YOU REFUSE TO LOVE GOD

REBELLION IS WHEN YOU SELF IDENTIFY INSTEAD OF CONFORM YOUR LIFE TO GODS TRUE IDENTITY OF WHO YOU ARE.

IT’S BECAUSE OF THAT GOD USES PARABLES, SYMBOLS, TYPES, SHADOWS, PICTURES, ALLEGORIES AND PROPHETIC PIECES THAT MUST BE CHARTED OUT ONE PIECE AT A TIME….

Allow God to speak in what ever arena He chooses.

We need to be able to recognize THE VOICE OF JESUS IN EVERYDAY LIFE   

Psalms 29:3 – The voice of the Lord is over the waters; The God of glory thunders; The Lord is over many waters.

• JOHN 12:28 GOD SPEAKS IN A THUNDER
• God is not limited as to how he can speak, sometimes God whispers sometimes his whisper is at the volume of a thunder
• We need to be willing and ready to hear speak through anything and ANYONE. This is a skillset.

Everything of faith is developmental.

Everything of faith is about maturing, stewarding and skill sets.

Shocking as this may be to some – just because we receive the Lord does NOT mean that: 
  • We automatically become a mature Christian
  • We are automatically skilled in the Word of Righteousness

Hebrews 5:13-14 – “For every one that uses milk is UNSKILLFUL in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe “… but strong meat belongs to them that are of a full age (mature), those who by PRACTICE (reason of use) have trained (exercised) their senses to be able to judge (discern) what is God (good) and what is not (evil).

Someone who is skillful  in discerning God’s word can tell the difference between the good word of God and the evil hurricane that the word of God is hidden in

Mark 4:24 –  And he said to them, “Pay attention to what you hear: with the measure you use, it will be measured to you, and still more will be added to you.”

Pay attention to what you hear. If you are willing to hear in five languages, God will speak to you in five languages.

3. JUST BECAUSE YOU UNDERSTAND

IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT.

4. JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH IT DOESN’T MEAN YOU KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME WILL BE.

5. JUST BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHAT THE OUTCOME WILL BE DOESN’T MEAN IT WILL AUTOMATICALLY HAPPEN. 

You are either partnering with the Holy Spirit or grieving the Holy Spirit

The dual nature of “The Wedding and the War”

1. The great and terrible day of the Lord

2. The “catching away” and the great return of the King

• The thief in the night (nobody sees Him)
• The heavens are peeled back. Jesus enters into the atmosphere with a mighty shout and a trumpet blast. Every eye sees Him.

The reason for the dual nature of the end times: choice.

• Judgment and reward

The end times world

• WHEN WE TALK ABOUT THE END TIMES AND THE CONDITION OF THE WORLD RIGHT BEFORE JESUS COMES BACK, WE SEE SO MUCH IS WRITTEN ABOUT A BIG, TERRIBLE MESS.
• Daniel’s vision of the end times: “A PERFECT STORM”
• Daniel 7:2-3 – Daniel spoke, saying, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the Great Sea. And four great beasts came up from the sea.”
• Like a hurricane … a perfect storm from everything global, the four beasts from the north, south, east and the west.
• There is a progressive intensity in everything you can imagine that will continue to progress until Jesus Himself comes back to put a stop to it. Birth pains.

BIRTH PAINS AND ACCELERATION

• The principles of accelerated time frames belongs to you. Wisdom and the counsel of God is for you to understand –  that the 50s are not returning to America. The new normal is increased major malfunctions.
• There is also a new level of anointing, a new level of intense outpouring of God’s grace and manifest Glory that answers this present darkness with the goodness of God.

THE PRINCIPLE OF ABOUNDING GRACE

“Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound.”

• Abounding: growing in abundant supply
• In a quick Google search, I found at least eight verses in the new testament that clearly state this principle – seven are from Paul and one from James – Romans 5:15, 5:17, 5:20 and so on.
• You have a grace for the hell you have to fight in the day you are living in and in the day to come.
• You can focus on the hell that is coming or you can focus on the glorious hope of Jesus being the ultimate answer.
• You don’t need the Bible to tell you sickness, natural disasters, racial and social unrest is increasing and global unrest is producing unanswerable trouble and conflict. You can watch the news.
• Within a very short amount of time, in a span of a few months, the abortion movement in the United States has gone from early term abortion to late term abortion to “you can still murder the child during labor” all the way to “even after the child is born we can still terminate the pregnancy” – meaning murder a fully-born baby if they can talk the mama into it and call it reproductive health.
• Isaiah 5:20  – Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness…

NO AVOIDING THE GREAT AND TERRIBLE DAY OF THE LORD

• Can only choose which side you’re on.
• You can avoid it in the Bible if you want to, but you can’t avoid it in the day we live in!
• So, if you saying, “I’m not really into the whole end times thing –  You are already in it!
• The bad in this world is increasing and it’s not going to stop.
• The evil in this world is increasing and it’s not going to stop.
• You don’t just talk about the trouble in the earth. You talk about the great end time revival and the return of King of Jesus.
• You don’t just talk about the end time revival and the power of the Holy Spirit. You also talk about the reality of all hell breaking loose.
• Matthew 24:13 – But he who endures to the end shall be saved.

WHEN TALKING ABOUT END TIMES

• KEEP IT POSITIVE BUT ALSO KEEP IT ACCURATE!
• Matthew 24:12 – And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
• “KEEP IT POSITIVE BUT KEEP IT ACCURATE” is exactly how we should be living in every single part of our life. 
• Know the truth of what the word of God says about the great and the terrible day of the Lord – about the wedding and the war, and the return of Jesus.

DO NOT BE DECEIVED

• The narrative matters. You need to know what the biblical narrative says.
• The greatest threat of the end times is not all the hell that is happening in the world. The greatest threat in the end times is deception!
• Matthew 24:4 – When will these things happen and what will be the sign of the coming of the end of the age? Jesus answered see to it that no man deceives you. 
• 2 Thessalonians 2:3 – Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition…
• Mark 13:22 – …for false christs and false prophets will arise to do signs and wonders to lead astray if possible the elect…

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

1) Learn who Jesus is. Read the red letters. Be fascinated with the character and the person of Jesus and who He is to you.

2)  Learn your identity in Christ. Learn who you are to Him.

3)  Put on the mind of christ

• Colossians 3:2 – …set your mind on things above, not on earthly things. 
• 1 Corinthians 2:16 – for who has known the mind of the Lord that He may instruct them but we have the mind of Christ

4)  Put on the helmet salvation from Ephesians 6:17.

5)   Learn the biblical narrative of the end times.

WEDDING AND THE WAR 1: “I Ain’t Scared”

• Any part of your life that doesn’t have great hope is under the influence of a lie.
• Jesus doesn’t warn us to scare us. He warns us to prepare us.

WEDDING AND THE WAR 1: “I Ain’t Scared”

• Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God. -Corrie Ten Boom

THE WEDDING AND WAR 2:

• Keep it positive but keep it accurate.
• The reason there is a dual nature is because there is actually a choice.

• Wisdom and the counsel of God is for you to understand that the fifties are not returning to America. The new normal is increased major malfunctions.
• But there is also a new level of anointing, a new level of intense  OUTPOURING of God’s grace and manifest Glory that answers this present darkness with the goodness of God.

THE WEDDING AND THE WAR 3: Looking for the Day

• God gave you time. And time is gift that God has given everyone.
• Time is something that can be measured, numbered and predicted by common people. Time is an environment God created for our sakes and we need to understand time in order to partner with His purposes for us. 
• Time is a blessing for the redeemed and a curse for God’s haters. It owns everything that isn’t kingdom and is a valuable tool for the purposes of the redeemed and the Redeemer. Scripture tells us God gives and God takes away. When it comes to time, we need to know the prophetic value of time before we step into eternity.

When people are in synch with God’s heart, they get into synch with God’s timing.

• God said, “Surely the sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing it to His servants the prophets.” – Amos 3:7
• God said “nothing,” and He did not exclude Christ’s return. I take Him at His word.

God not only knows the end from the beginning, He tells us that He makes it known!

• Isaiah 46:10 – “I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.”

• He has already made it known! I personally believe it has been hidden in His Word all along, to be unlocked in His timing.  There is nothing wrong with seeking!  No doubt, it pleases God.
• Isaiah 48:5 – I have even from the beginning declared it to you; before it came to pass I showed it to you.
• Jesus said the Holy Spirit “will teach you all things.” – John 14:26
• He said “all things.” Did Jesus make a mistake, forgetting to exclude when He will return? I don’t think so.

Friends confide in one another.

• Abraham was called God’s “friend.” (Isaiah 41:8; James 2:23)
• Genesis 18:17 – And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do.
• Now, because of Jesus’ atonement, we are called friends of God:
• John 15:15 – “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends.”
• The Bible also says that Jesus was crucified so that the blessing of Abraham, part of which was friendship with God, would come upon the Gentiles — us (Galatians 3:14).

FORESHADOWING THINGS TO COME

• Ecclesiastes 1:9 – What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. 
• Many Bible students believe that ancient events and dating in the Bible are shadows and clues that foretell the coming of the Lord, even the timing.  An example is the six days of creation, seen as 6,000 years of man’s dominion over the earth, before the return of the Lord and the seventh, or Sabbath Millennium of peace, with Christ ruling in Jerusalem.  According to scholars, we are now at the end of 6,000 years since Adam.
• There are other such passages. God clearly promised that we would know at least approximately when Christ will return, and even “the day” will not surprise us, as the Holy Spirit reveals through Paul!

• He gave Noah advance notice of when the flood would be (Genesis 6,7).
• He told Abraham how long the Israelites would be in Egypt (Genesis 15:13).
• He revealed to many the very day of Elijah’s rapture (2 Kings 2).
• He told Jeremiah how long the Babylonian exile would be (Jeremiah 29:10).
• He told Daniel exactly when Messiah would come the first time (Daniel 9:25-26).

MISSING THE MARK

• There were many alive during the first appearance of Jesus who totally missed it.
• Bethlehem may have had more than 10,000 people run it at the time that Jesus was born and only a handful of people knew anything about the greatest promise ever made being fulfilled just feet away and out of their view. 
• Matthew 23:37 – “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.”
• See, when Jesus was on trial before Herod and Pontius Pilate, he was not the one on trial. Everybody else who was there was actually on trial. Did they recognize the timing and the appearance of Christ? 

ARE YOU LOOKING?

• The day of His appearance is also a judgment-based on whether you are expecting Him or not.
• 1 Peter 2:12 – Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, having your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by your good works which they observe, glorify God in the day of visitation.
• It says that you don’t want to miss your day of visitation and some translations say inspection. The litmus test for where your heart is and the thing that God will inspect is to do you know the timing go His appearance. 
• Just the question — when? — causes some Christians to cringe, protest, or even scoff! They quickly point out that Jesus said,
• Matthew 24:36 – But of that day and hour knoweth no man.
• Some believers criticize other believers who are seeking God’s clues, either from the Scriptures or by personal revelation. It is interesting that it was apparently by personal revelation, not Scripture, that many people knew the exact day of Elijah’s rapture in 2 Kings!  Are there types in the Old Testament?  Do God’s principles repeat themselves?
• As evidence, many other Scriptures reveal to us that God will reveal at least the approximate time. Even if the “day and hour” restriction is literally valid today, it may be because the Earth is in 24 time zones and always in two different days.
• Jesus also said, “but my Father only” knows, which pins the statement to His hearers at the time, when Jesus was still on the earth, because surely there are now no secrets in the Trinity between the Father and the glorified Son, who are truly One.
• Also, in context, He seems to be speaking of heaven and earth passing away (v. 35), not other end-time events. In addition, Jesus said,
• Revelation 3:3 – If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
• It is clear that Jesus will not come as a “thief in the night” for watchful believers, because in the very same passage, verse 4, Paul tells us,
• 1 Thessalonians 5:4 – But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
• Jesus rebuked those who did not understand the signs of the times in His day:
• Matthew 16:3 – O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky, but can ye not discern the signs of the times.
• Of the end of the age, Jesus said,
• Luke 21:28 – And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

THE FEASTS OF THE LORD

The Spring feasts have already been fulfilled.

1. Passover — Pointed to the Messiah as our passover lamb whose blood would be shed for our sins. Jesus was crucified on the day of preparation for the Passover, at the same time that the lambs were being slaughtered for the Passover meal that evening.

2. Unleavened Bread — Pointed to the Messiah’s sinless life, making Him the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Jesus’ body was in the grave during the first days of this feast, like a kernel of wheat planted and waiting to burst forth as the bread of life.

3. First Fruits — Pointed to the Messiah’s resurrection as the first fruits of the righteous. Jesus was resurrected on this very day, which is one of the reasons that Paul refers to him in I Corinthians 15:20 as the “first fruits from the dead.”

4. Harvest or Pentecost — (Called Shavuot today.) Pointed to the great harvest of souls, both Jew and Gentile, that would come into the kingdom of God during the Church Age. The Church was actually established on this day when the Messiah poured out the Holy Spirit and 3,000 souls responded to Peter’s first proclamation of the Gospel.

The long interval of three months between Harvest and Trumpets pointed to the current Church Age, a period of time that was kept as a mystery to the Hebrew prophets in Old Testament times.

THE FALL FEASTS

That leaves us with the three fall feasts which are yet to be fulfilled in the life and work of the Messiah. Because Jesus literally fulfilled the first four feasts and did so on the actual feast days, I think it is safe to assume that the last three will also be fulfilled and that their fulfillment will occur on the actual feast days. We cannot be certain how they will be fulfilled, but my guess is that they most likely have the following prophetic implications:

5) Trumpets — (Called Rosh Hashana today.) Points to the Rapture when the Messiah will appear in the heavens as a Bridegroom coming for His bride, the Church. The Rapture is always associated in Scripture with the blowing of a loud trumpet (I Thessalonians 4:13-18 and I Corinthians 15:52)

6) Atonement — (Called Yom Kippur today.) Points to the day of the Second Coming of Jesus when He will return to earth. That will be the day of atonement for the Jewish remnant when they “look upon Him whom they have pierced,” repent of their sins, and receive Him as their Messiah (Zechariah 12:10 and Romans 11:1-6, 25-36).

7) Tabernacles — (Called Sukkot today.) Points to the Lord’s promise that He will once again tabernacle with His people when He returns to reign over all the world from Jerusalem (Micah 4:1-7).

Jesus will come back for the rapture of the church at the feast of trumpets  and no man knows the day or the hour because you cant know the day or the hot because it variable from year due to the appearance of the moon

Many in my generation of evangelicals have held dispensational eschatological chart-drawing in such derision that we have been virtually paralyzed in our study of prophecy. For two generations, perhaps, we have failed to study prophecy with anything like the rigor that it deserves. We have been so afraid of being viewed as one of those Zionist, right-wing, antichrist-sniffing, culture-denying, alarmist left-overs from the Scofield prophecy conference era that we give hardly any energy to putting the prophetic pieces together — at least not in public.

So my prophecy is that younger evangelicals who take the Bible seriously will start to feel like the paralysis of my generation was an overreaction to prophetic studies; Chris Tomlin and others will write more worship songs about the second coming; and younger scholars will not be embarrassed to write doctrinal dissertations on Daniel 9 and Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians 2, unintimidated by the academic scorn of futuristic possibilities.

• Any part of your life that doesn’t have great hope is under the influence of a lie.

THE WEDDING AND THE WAR 2: Keep it positive but keep it accurate.

• The reason there is a dual nature is because there is actually a choice.

• THE PRINCIPLE OF ABOUNDING GRACE: Where sin abounds grace does much more abound.
• Abounding: growing in abundant supply

THE WEDDING AND THE WAR 3: Looking for the Day

• Revelation 3:3 – If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
• It is clear that Jesus will not come as a “thief in the night” for watchful believers because in the very same passage, verse 4, Paul tells us,
• 1 Thessalonians 5:4 – But you, brothers, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.
• John 15:15 – I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends.
• The Bible also says that Jesus was crucified so the blessing of Abraham, part of which was friendship, can be fulfilled.

• 1 Corinthians 3:5-15 – Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. 7 So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.
• Fire is passion. Passion is zeal.

JUDGMENT IS NOT ALWAYS NEGATIVE

• Hebrews 9:27 – It is appointed to man to die once, then the judgment.
• Judgment is where God confronts and punishes evil.
• Eliott Ness has to make a stand against Al Capone.
• Melvin Purvis has to chase down John Dillinger.
• Frank Hammer has to rise up and deal with Bonnie and Clyde.
• Seal Team Six and Robert J. O’Neil have to take out Bin Ladin.
• Judgment is where God evaluates and rewards.
• Romans 14:10,12 – We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ…12 Then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

JUDGMENT IS WHERE GOD REWARDS

• 2 Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
• Rewards: Rewards express how Jesus feels about our love for Him in this life and about our having worked closely with Him in what He calls “precious.” Rewards are not about superiority over others.
• Matthew 16:27 – “The Son of Man will come…He will reward each according to his works.”
• Jesus remembers every small act of love, even giving someone a cup of water.
• Matthew 10:42 – “Whoever gives…only a cup of cold water…he shall by no means lose his reward.”

JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST

• Paul gave us important details about our most important appointment  – the Judgment Seat of Christ.
• 1 Corinthians 3:8, 11-15 – Each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor…11 No other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 If anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear…it will be revealed by fire… 14 If anyone’s work…endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved.
• Jesus called us to buy gold by developing our relationship with Him and obeying Him. We “buy gold” by making choices that express our love to Jesus through our obedience to Him (John 14:15).
• Revelation 3:18 – “I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich.”

“The fear of the Lord”

• Love what God loves. Hate what God hates.
• Be passionate about what God is passionate about.
• Celebrate what God celebrates.

Revelation 22:12 – “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Matthew 16:27 – “The Son of Man will come…He will reward each according to his works.”

Hebrews 9:27 – It is appointed to man to die once, then the judgment.

All judgement isn’t negative.

• We all know and recognize judgment where God confronts and punishes evil.
• Eliott Ness has to make a stand against Al Capone.
• Melvin Purvis has to chase down John Dillinger.
• Frank Hammer has to rise up and deal with Bonnie and Clyde.
• Seal Team Six and Robert J. O’Neil have to take out Bin Ladin.

Did you know there is judgment where God evaluates and rewards?

• Romans 14:10-12 – We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ…12 Then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
• 2 Corinthians 5:10 – For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
• Rewards: Rewards express how Jesus feels about our love for Him in this life and about our having worked closely with Him in what He calls precious. They are not about superiority over others.
• Believers differ from one another in the measure of glory expressed in the rewards they receive.
• 1 Corinthians 15:41-42 – …for one star differs from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead.
• Eternal rewards are given in varying measures. Believers will differ from one another in the measure of God’s glory expressed in and through them. Thus, each will have a varying measure of God’s glory in their garments according to how they lived (Rev. 19:8). The realm of “the resurrection” includes more than our body. It includes garments, thrones, crowns, and more.

NOT ALL ARE EQUAL IN HEAVEN

• The lifestyle of some in the kingdom will be called “least,” while some will be called “great” (Mt. 5:19).
• Matthew 5:19 – “Whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments… shall be called least in the kingdom… but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom”
• Eternal rewards are glorious beyond anything that we can imagine.
• 1 Corinthians 2:9 – “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
• We must be careful not to reduce eternal rewards to something that we can easily imagine. They are go along with the glory of the King and the eternal city; they are befitting of royalty and express His beauty. The glory of the daughter in Psalm 45 is symbolic of the Bride of Christ.

GARMENTS OF REWARD

• Jesus imparts beauty to His people in various ways, including heavenly garments (Isa. 61:1-3). Moses prayed for God’s beauty to be seen on God’s people (Ps. 90:17). Isaiah spoke of putting on beautiful garments (Isa. 52:1) and compared them to a bride adorning herself
• There are eight references in Revelation concerning “spiritual garments” (Rev. 3:4-5, 18; 4:4; 6:11; 7:9, 13; 19:8, 14).
• Heavenly garments will be given according to the saints’ obedience and righteous acts (Rev. 19:8). Each believer will receive clothing that expresses the quality of their devotion to Jesus in this life.
• Isaiah 61:10 – He has clothed me with the garments of salvation…as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
• Isaiah 61:1-3 – “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me…to give them beauty for ashes.”
• Psalms 90:17 – Let the beauty of the LORD…be upon us, and establish the work of our hands.
• Isaiah 52:1 – Awake…Put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments.

• Revelation 19:7-8 – …and His wife has made herself ready. 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.
• 1 Corinthians 15:41-42 – …for one star differs from another star in glory. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead.
• Note the difference in radiance and brightness.
• You will literally be clothed in how you loved Jesus in this lifetime!!!

CROWNS

• The eternal rewards that Jesus will give will include crowns that believers may obtain. (1 Cor. 9:25; Phil. 4:1; 1 Thess. 2:19; 2 Tim. 4:8; Jas. 1:12; 1 Pet. 5:4; Rev. 2:10; 3:11).
• Revelation 3:11 – Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
• Receiving a heavenly crown is not synonymous with receiving the gift of eternal life that is freely given to all believers by faith, based on what Jesus did for us. Crowns are given in addition to receiving the gift of salvation and are based on how we respond to Jesus’ leadership in this age.

TWO GREEK WORDS FOR CROWNS

• The crown of a ruler – Greed word “diadema”
• This indicates political authority over a region. Our word diadem comes from diadema and speaks of the power to rule. Diadema is the word used for the crown worn by the dragon (Satan; Rev. 12:3), the beast (the Antichrist; Rev. 13:1), and by Christ (Rev. 19:12).
• The crown of a victory – Greek word “stephanos”
• A stephanos was given as a prize in athletic games to honor victorious athletes; it is parallel to receiving a gold, silver, or bronze medal in the Olympic Games today. This crown denotes victory (Mt. 27:29; Mk. 15:17; Jn. 19:2, 5; 1 Cor. 9:25; Phil. 4:1; 2 Tim. 2:5; 4:8; 1 Thes. 2:19; Heb. 2:7, 9; Jas. 1:12; 1 Pet. 5:4; Rev. 2:10; 3:11; 4:4, 10; 12:1; 14:14).

Three different kinds of crowns in Bible

• The Crown of Life: This promise is for any who stay faithful to Jesus in temptation and persecution. Those who refuse to give up in resisting temptation and the fear associated with persecution will receive this crown. It is the only crown that is described twice in Scripture.
• James 1:12 – Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved [found consistent], he will receive the crown of life…promised to those who love Him.
• Revelation 2:10 – “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison. be faithful unto death and I will give you the Crown of life.”
• The Crown of Righteousness:This is about character development and serving God in your character.
• 2 Timothy 4:8 – …there is…for me the crown of righteousness…[and] all who have loved His appearing.
• The Crown of Glory: Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory. This crown is promised to anyone who diligently serves in and cares for the church. It’s also for how you serves the people the lord has assigned to you. Service is to be done “eagerly” in nurturing, serving, caring for, and feeding God’s people. Crowns are given to those who labor with a servant spirit and with eagerness.
• 1 Peter 5:1-4 – I exhort [elders]…shepherd the flock of God…serving…not by compulsion but…eagerly… and when the

Crowns are referred to three times without a descriptive title (1 Cor. 9:5, Rev. 3:11; 4:8).

• The 24 elders in heaven wear victors’ crowns (stephanos), not a king’s crown (diadema), because they were victorious over temptations. The elders cast their crowns before God as their “love gift” to Him. Their crowns express the reward they received for costly obedience in this life.
• Revelation 4:4, 10 –  I saw twenty-four elders sitting…and they had crowns of gold on their heads…10 The 24 elders fall down…and cast their crowns before the throne.
• The fact that some cast their crowns at His feet doesn’t mean that the crowns remain on the ground for millions of years. When they see God’s extravagant generosity in giving a crown as a reward for their “weak obedience,” they cast it at His feet, overcome with gratitude, love, and humility.
• We can lose our crown by letting teachers seduce us with deceptive doctrines of grace. When Jesus exhorted us not to let anyone take our crown, He did not mean they could take our salvation.

Keep it positive but keep it accurate.

Revelation 3:11 – Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown [stephanos].

WHAT IS LIGHT?

• LIGHT IS WHEN GOD SHOWS UP AND ACTUALLY INTERJECTS HIMSELF INTO A SITUATION.
• WITHOUT FORM: LIGHT SHOWS UP AS ORDER
• 1. an authoritative direction a condition in which each thing is properly disposed with  harmonious arrangement:
• VOID: LIGHT SHOWS UP AS LIFE
• Ecclesiastes 3:11 says that God has put eternity in man’s heart.
• THERE IS SOMETHING ETERNAL WITHIN YOU THAT CAN ONLY BE ANSWERED BY ETERNAL LIFE.
• DARKNESS: THE DARK IS NO MATCH FOR LIGHT
• Darkness can never master light.

18 IN THE NEGATIVE REPRESENTS BONDAGE

18 IN THE POSITIVE MEANS LIFE-GIVING

This symbol, commonly seen on necklaces and other jewelry and ornaments, is simply the Hebrew word Chai (living), with the two Hebrew letters Cheit and Yod attached to each other. Some say it refers to the Living God; others say it simply reflects Judaism’s focus on the importance of life. Whatever the reason, the concept of chai is important in Jewish culture. The typical Jewish toast is l’chayim (to life). Gifts to charity are routinely given in multiples of

How is the number 21 related to sin?

In 2 Timothy 3, the apostle Paul writes of 21 actions which show the exceeding wickedness of self and sin.

He begins the chapter with a warning and then starts his list with the words “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will . . .”

    Brag quite a bit

    Be proud of themselves

    Blaspheme

    Disregard and disobey their parents

    Not be thankful for what they have

    Reject being holy

Paul’s advice to Timothy is 2 Timothy 3:5 – “…turn away from these.”

22 LIGHT

• The Hebrew alphabet is made up of 22 letters, which are used to compose the Word of God. The word of God is called a lamp (Psalms 119:105, Proverbs 6:22), thus it is the light by which we are to live. The word light is found 264 times in Scripture. (12 X 22)
• God created 22 things in the six days of creation.
• Light is used 22 times in the Gospel of John.
• The 22nd time John uses the word, he quotes Jesus: “I have come as a light into the world . . .” (John 12:46).
• Christians are to walk in the light of Christ (John 3:21), and be the light of the world (Matthew 5:14-15).

• ISSAC NEWTON CALLED IT “THE THEORY OF MECHANICS.”

RAGING AGAINST THE MACHINE

THINGS LINE UP IN  A CERTAIN WAY

• Psalm 16:6 – The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.
• Tapping into my inheritance is about agreeing with what God has lined up for me.
• The devil’s line up is a machine.
• Man against the machine.
• There is a machine that human beings have to deal with. THE MACHINE IS THE SYSTEM, the economic and cultural, NATIONAL, SOCIAL AND RELIGIOUS structures we all live in. 

The machine is cause and effect.
The machine is you reap what you sow.

The machine is an eye for an eye .

The machine is for every action there is a reaction. 

The machine is the system of checks and balances that make sure things turn out in a certain way.

• If the enemy can get you to live according to the machine, he will eventually kill you with it.   
• Blind mechanical, impartial – it’s the way it is and just like the Terminator, it is relentless in coming after you.
• It can’t be bargained with. It can’t be reasoned with. It doesn’t feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

The machine says if your poor you can’t live life like other people.

The machine says if you’re a minority you can’t have opportunity.

The machine says if you made bad grades, you can’t further your education.

The machine says if you have been incarcerated everyone will always see you as a convict.

The machine says if your father was alcoholic you will be an alcoholic.

The machine says if you were molested then you will become a pedophile.

The machine says if you’re above the age of 40 nobody will hire you.   

The machine says if you don’t have insurance you can’t get health care.

The machine says if you’ve made bad mistakes it’s too late.

The machine says if you live in a bad neighborhood your kids are going to do drugs.

The machine says if you got pregnant before you were married your kids will do the same thing.

JUST LIKE THE SPEED OF LIGHT, THESE ARE PRINCIPLE MECHANICS

• JUST LIKE IN THE LAWS OF PHYSICS, THE MACHINE IS CONSTANT AND DOESN’T CHANGE EXCEPT AS WE HAVE LEARNED IN SPECIAL RELATIVITY… EXCEPT FOR SPECIAL CASES.
• Everything is moving relative to everything else.
• General relativity vs. special relativity because it applies only to special cases
• EINSTEIN’S THEORY OF RELATIVITY BASICALLY SAYS RELATIONSHIP TRUMPS THE MACHINE
• You can first see it in the laws of the universe

The First Law: The Greatest Commandment

Mark 12:30 – “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.”

RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD CHANGES YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE RULES.

IN THE KINGDOM, GOD LOVES RESTORATION MORE THAN PUNISHMENT

• The laws of the universe say I am rebellious against God  but the higher law of relationship with God through Jesus Christ says I am the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ.
• The machine says I’m filthy, but my relationship with Jesus says I am clean.
• John 15:3 – Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
• The rules say if I don’t have tons of money in the bank then I am poor.  But according to the infallible rules of relationship with God through Jesus Christ, I am rich with the inexhaustible riches of Heaven.
• Alone and by myself, the machine tells me I’m a loser and easily defeated, but because of relationship in Christ, JESUS TELLS ME I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR 

Relationship trumps the machine

If I let anything other than my relationship with Him take priority, then the machine wins. If I let relationship take priority over everything then LIFE WINS.

   EVERYTHING IN THE KINGDOM IS RELATIONAL                                         

• Religion must never replace relationship.
• Service must never be a substitute for intimacy.
• Work must never replace worship.
• Ministry to the people should never be a substitute for ministry to the Lord. 

INTIMACT: IN-TO-ME-SEE

Ephesians 3:17  – …that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

There are promises in need of adoption, innovation and ideas desperate to be discovered. There are dreams to be realized and passions to be pursued. Vision is exploding anew to be mapped out and legacy is being permanently laid down. I think God wants you and I to be neck deep in in moving forward. That’s what victorious Kingdom living is all about.

So, the biblical term for forward progression is sometimes, on a grand scale, seen as journey but it is always displayed and demonstrated on a small scale through the metaphor of “walking.”

It is often figuratively used to denote a man’s mode of life, or his spiritual character, course, and relations, Ezekiel 11:20. He may walk as a carnal or as a spiritual man, Romans 8:1; with God, or in ignorance and sin, Genesis 5:24, 1 John 5:21; in the fire of affliction, Isaiah 43:2; or in the light, purity, and joy of Christ’s favor here and in heaven, Psalm 89:15, Revelation 3:4.

The book of Psalms starts off like this:

Psalms 1:1 – Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful…

Your walk is how you live and who you walk with is determined by who influences you.

That’s why we are told to walk in the truth, to walk in His judgements and to walk in His ways.

Psalm 116:9

I will walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

Paul has a lot to say about how we move forward in life. In fact, out of the 412 verses in the Bible that tell us how to walk, 36 of them are penned by Paul himself.

Some of my favorites y’all might recognize are:

2 Corinthians 5:7– For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Galatians 5:16 [Walking in the Spirit] – I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:25 – If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Colossians 2:6 – As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord,

so walk in Him…

So, by the time Paul gets to the 5th chapter in his amazing discourse to the Ephesians, he tells how to walk.

Walk in Light

Ephesians 5:8-14 – For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10 finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather [c]expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things that are [d]exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14 Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”

The believer in God’s gospel is justified by faith alone. But God’s gospel never concludes with justification.

• This process of changing the justified believer’s life-style into the saintly character of Christ Himself is called sanctification. Sanctification means to be set apart for a holy purpose.

• We partner with God in changing our THINKING, FEELINGS & ACTIONS

God: The unchangeable God

• Jesus the rock
• He doesn’t change his behavior to match ours.
• James 1:17  – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
• The first thing we learn from this verse is that the father side of God is the giving side of God.

GOD THE GIVER

There is a beautiful scene near the end of “The Agony and the Ecstasy,” Irving Stone’s historical novel about Michelangelo. An ailing Pope Julius II visits the nearly completed ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Michelangelo has to help him up the last few rungs of the ladder. He looks above him at Michelangelo’s depiction of God, about to impart the gift of life to Adam. The pope had fought many wars in the name of the church. He has blood on his hands, and he isn’t even sure if his cause had been successful. But as he looks at Michelangelo’s picture of God, a smile comes to his cracked lips.

“Do you truly believe God is that benign?” the pope asks the artist.

Michelangelo: “Yes, Holy Father.”

Pope Julius: “I most ardently hope so, since I am going to be standing before him before long. If he is as you have painted him, then I shall be forgiven my sins.”

In Michelangelo’s painting, the pope saw an image of God unlike the one he had lived with his whole life. This God wasn’t killing life; he was giving life. This God was a giver, even in the face of his sins. Our God is a giver, even in the face of our complaints against him.

God is, in fact, the greatest of all givers.

• I’m not just talking about how God has given us the world.
• Psalm 115:16 – “The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.”
• Luke 11:13  – “If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

How can we not love the gifts of the Holy Spirit?

• Romans 6:23 – “The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
  Now when you get to trying to describe the gift that God has given us, you start getting into trouble .
• 2 Corinthians 9:15 – Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!                                              
• The word indescribable is interesting because it doesn’t mean that there are no words. It means there are not enough words
• The reason this gift is indescribable is because we discover new things about the Lord every time we see Him and will continue to walk in newness of life for all eternity.
• James 1:17  – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

THE FATHER OF LIGHTS

LIGHT IS LIFE

John 8:12 – I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 

THE FATHER OF LIGHTS

IN RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM AS FATHER, EVERYTHING HE GIVES YOU IS LIFE GIVING.

• He doesn’t change HIS behavior to mimic your behavior.
• He is your protection.
• He is your stability.
• He is your sanity.
• He is your refuge.
• He is there for you. No matter what changes His heart for you, who He is to you never changes.
• The amplified versions says, “Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse].”

1 John 3:1  – Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

• We can know the Heart of the Father.
• We can have the heart of the Father.
• The heart of the Father is for people:
• The Whole World  in John 3:16
• The lost…people like us.
• 2 Peter 3:9 – The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
• Not willing that any should perish (not just some people)
• No one is beyond the heart of God.

He is the Father who runs to his children.

• God searched for Adam in the Garden – Genesis 3:9
• He runs to his lost sons and daughters – Luke 15:20
• God is still seeking and saving the lost – Luke 19:10
• He is still running to you!

Jesus has the heart of the Father – John 1:14

• John 14:7 – If you have seen me you have seen the Father.
• “That’s my dad. That’s my father and when I see Jesus, I have seen the Father.”
• James 1:17  – Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

CALENDARS 22 –  A Word in Due Season

God speaks in different ways during different parts of our calendars and timelines.

• Why? EVERYTHING IN THE KINGDOM IS RELATIONAL BEFORE IT IS
• THERE IS A VERY SPECIFIC WORD FROM GOD FOR SPECIFIC PEOPLE AT SPECIFIC TIMES
• 2 Corinthians 6:2 – For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
• Luke 4:19-20 – …To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
• Psalms 75:2 (Amplified)  – When the proper time has come, [for executing my judgments,] I will judge uprightly, (says the Lord.)

Sons of Issachar

1 Chronicles 12:32 – And of the children of Issachar, who were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were under their command.

Exodus 32:29 – For Moses had said, “Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD… that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.”

THERE IS A SPECIAL BLESSING THAT ONLY COMES FROM TIMES OF WHAT THE BIBLE CALLS CONSECRATION.

• Consecration and contemplation
• Consecration is about an intentional posture toward God’s presence.
• It’s about setting yourself apart in a specific way for God to bless you in a specific way.
• Hearing the trumpet blow.
• People who live life at a much higher level in Christ live a life committed to consecration.
• Psalms 16:8  – I have set the LORD always before me…
• Psalm 34:8 – “O taste and see that the LORD is good.”
• We only comprehend the goodness of God through personal encounter.
• When God begins to invite us into encounter with him, we agree and say, “Yes.”
• Psalms 27:8 – When you said, “Seek my face” my heart said unto you, “Your face, LORD, will I seek.”
• Psalm 85:5 – Blessed is the man whose…heart is set on pilgrimage.
• Luke 6:38 – …“For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
• The other thing we need to be dedicated to is contemplation – that we will take the notes we wrote down in this sermon series and during this upcoming conference and remember the things God is speaking to us. That we will meditate and think on them until we have come to supernatural and holy ghost conclusions that only the lord could take us to.

You have to want to think God thoughts.

• Psalms 1:2 – [a blessed man] has his delight on the teachings of the lord and he meditates on it day and night.
• WE WANT TO KNOW THE HEART OF GOD SO WE CAN RECOGNIZE THE VOICE OF GOD, AND WE CAN HAVE THE GUTS AND CHARACTER TO CARRY OUT WHAT GOD IS SPEAKING TO US IN 2019.
• Knowing God’s heart for us right now.
• Hearing God’s voice.
• Becoming empowered to carry out great vision.

GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU, RIGHT NOW, A WORD THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING.

• A word in direct contrast to the what the world is saying and we must develop a huge value for the voice of God.
• HAVE A HIGHER VALUE FOR HIS VOICE
• Proverbs 15:23 – A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!
• Proverbs 25:11 – A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.

Genesis 1:1

 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth

First day God created light

Second day. God divided the waters

Third day God rose up the land out of the sea

Genesis 1:14-19

Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. • A sign is something that proclaims a prophetic message.

• A season is a prophetic appointed time.

• The promise of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ is a prophetic promise.

• There is no end to the ways God can speak to us. There is ONE WORD – the Bible – but no end to the number of methods and sources God will use to convey his prophetic word.

• One internationally recognized and undisputed way God speaks prophetically is through astrological events otherwise known signs in the heavens. 

Psalm 19:1-3

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

• One of the main reasons God created the sun, the moon and the stars, and positioned them with our perspective in mind was literally for prophetic signs to tell us when we are entering into a new prophetic season. 

Luke 21:25 & 28

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars…Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.

There has never been a time when God has spoken so much and declared so great a things in the heavens as right now. 

2) ECLIPSES ARE A SCIENTIFIC MIRACLE

The physics of an eclipse:

• The sun is 400 times larger than the moon. It is also 400 times away from our planet. Therefore, when the earth, or it’s shadow, passes between the sun and our moon to create an eclipse, it creates a perfect “blackout” from our perspective.

• From a scientific standpoint, it is literally and astrological miracle.

• May be the only place in the universe where all of these things line up and they line up FROM OUR PERSPECTIVE! (FIRMAMENT)

• God is literally shouting, “I want you to see this. I Am speaking to you.”

God speaks through both lunar and solar eclipses

• The Sun represents the Glory of God – His light.

⁃ Therefore, Solar eclipses are a word from God for the natural or creation.

⁃ It is seen as male.

⁃ It is generally a word for the nations.

• The moon has no light, or glory, of her own. She reflects the light of the Sun – it’s glory.

⁃ Therefore, Lunar eclipses are a spiritual word.

⁃ They are seen as female (moon has 28 day cycle just like a woman)

⁃ Lunar eclipses are generally a word for the church.

⁃ Very often, they line up with specific feasts on the Jewish calendar.

An eclipse is known as THE ORIGINAL SIGN OF JONAH THE PROPHET

Bursagale eclipse of June 15, 763 BC – AKA: ASSYRIAN ECLIPSE (GRX)

• Total solar eclipse. Scared these people to death. Came after famine and plague had decimated the evil, child sacrificing Assyrian people.

• A famous prophet who calmed a storm and spent three days in the belly of a fish walks up to the evil people of Assyrian capitol of Ninevah and says, “Repent!”

• They repent!!!! He shows up on the first day of the month of Elul it’s 40 days before Yom Kippur and says, “Repent! You’ve got 40 days.”

• Modern day Mosul Iraq is biblical Nineveh

• ECLIPSES GENERALLY HAVE THE WARNING “REPENT” ATTACHED TO THEM

GOD HAS A RIGHT NOW WORD FOR AMERICA CONCERNING REPENTANCE AND JUDGMENT ON JANUARY 20, 2019 – tonight!

• Lunar eclipse begins Jan. 20 and ends Jan. 21

• NOT ONLY 1/20, BUT MAGNITUDE OF 1.20

It will last 1 hour and 2 minutes!

120 – testing is finished and BOOM! God shows up.

• Completing a process

• Graduating to bigger and better things.

• It’s when God shows up and changes everything

• It took 120 years to build the ark before God showed up, filled it with animals and God Almighty Himself shut the door.

• Moses spent forty years in Egypt, forty years as a shepherd and forty years in the wilderness before he died at the age of 120, then everyone else entered into the Promised Land.

• There were 120 people in the Upper Room when the Holy Spirit showed up at Pentecost and changed absolutely everything.

• According to Donald Trump’s Birth Certificate, he was born on June 14, 1946 at 10:54 am. That coincides within the SAME hour for a Blood Moon Eclipse over the geographic area that would become Israel. The moon was eclipsed at moonrise over Israel.

• Donald Trump was born exactly 700 days before Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948!

• On Nov 8, 2016 Election Day, when President Trump was elected, Bibi Netanyahu had been in office as Prime Minister of Israel for 7-years, 7-months, 7-days!

• The Electoral College margin of victory for President Trump was 304 minus 277 = 77 votes (see the historical chart)!

THE 70 WEEKS FROM DANIEL 9:24

DANIEL 9-24 – Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy Place.

From the Rev 12 sign on September 23, 2017 to the day BEFORE the Jan 20 eclipse is 483-days… there are 7-days to a week, so that 483 days is exactly 69-weeks… 7 X 69 = 483.

As of yesterday, the 19th, there were 69 full weeks from the Revelation 12 sign in the heavens that happened on Sept. 23, 2017. Tonight’s eclipse marks the beginning of the 70th week from that sign.

JANUARY 20 in HISTORY – THE WANNSEE CONFERENCE AND THE “FINAL SOLUTION”

On January 20, 1942, 15 high-ranking Nazi Party and German government officials gathered at a villa in the Berlin suburb of Wannsee to discuss and coordinate the implementation of what they called the “Final Solution of the Jewish Question.”

The final solution to exterminate the European Jews was put in place exactly 77 years ago from tomorrow – Jan. 20.

• Our bridegroom is coming soon. He wants us to unify to bring about the repentance and redemption of his lost sheep.

• It is a word that judgement is coming to those who hate me and eternal life is coming to those who love me and prepare for my return like a bride makes herself ready for her groom

This is the year of deliverance

• The Sign of Jonah the Prophet APPEARED OVER AMERICA – AN AMERICAN WORD

• The eclipse only touched our nation (grx)

• The last time that happened was in 1776 

• There is a sun on the Oregon State Flag (2017 entry point).

• There is a solar eclipse on the South Carolina State Flag (2017 exit).

• The first big city it hit was Salem, Oregon

• Salem means Jerusalem and speaks of covenant and God’s people.

• The eclipse went across 7 cities named Salem

• SALEM is the Hebrew word for Peace, Wholeness, Wellness, Fullness or Completion, Restitution.

This is word of repentance for the church and for the redeemed. If you’re not sure about that, consider this:

• At the same exact time –10:15 a.m. – that America was going dark because an eclipse, Israel was experiencing sunset and they were dark at the same time.

• The first of Elul: the month of repentance 

Seven years after the Great American Eclipse of 2017, another total solar eclipse is going to happen across America… and it puts a giant x right across our great nation!  (grx)

• April 8, 2024 – the first day of Nissan!!! The biblical new year when the fire came down from heaven.

• Also thought to be the exact birthdate of Christ and the day he was crucified 33 years later (says Jonathan Cahn)

• X is the the Hebrew letter “TEV” and it means “a sign.”

• The intersection is at a place called “Little Egypt.”

• God is targeting the hard hearts of Americans – just like Pharaoh’s hard heart.

• BUT IF YOU GET IT DOWN TO THE SQUARE FOOT,  IT CROSSES  A STREET IN CEDAR LAKE STATE PARK  CALLED “SALEM  STREET.” (GRX)

My friends, let’s read Luke 21 again.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars…Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.

Unity, deliverance, redemption, fruitfulness and financial blessing for Kingdom advancement are yours if you go after it. God is literally shouting to us to partner with Him in this prophetic hour.

Get some oil in your lamp. Cry out at midnight and look for your bridegroom to come!

CALENDARS PART 4 – DRAWING A LINE ON TIME

SUNDAY, JANUARY 27

This is going to be several different parts and what I am about to talk to about is very controversial and that’s  because

People have drawn their lines in the sand and insist on calling their theories “God.”

I’m going to call this first part “Drawing the Line On Time.”

The Temple of God (1 Peter 2:5)  = We do not budge.

The Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12) = We are always growing & moving.

We have to learn. We have to process. We have to develop. We have to unpack things and go after things, and you and I get into speculation and the wonders of abstract thought. In the the midst of all that, we come up with theories.

Theories are not the bad guy.

A theory is only bad when we say our theory is God.

Even the word “theory” has the word “Theo” in it, which means “anything relating to God.”

Theology

Theocracy: a system of government where priests rule in the name of God.

Pantheon: was the place where the Greeks worshiped all the Gods – even the unknown God that Paul preached about at Mars Hill in Acts chapter 17.

So, the word “theory” has the word “theo” in it because human beings mistake theory for revelation.

DEVINE REVELATION IS NOT THE SAME AS THEORY.

And humans, both secular and biblical, tend to call their theories “God.”

I’m going to explore a bunch of fun ideas and theories regarding secular and biblical timelines, but first of all,

let me say this: Be set free in the name of Jesus to unpack and process Kingdom truth in non-traditional ways.

Permission granted to be a weirdo.

These chairs indicate a typical biblical timeline that is true:

There are 2,000 years from Adam to Abraham. 

There are 2,000 years from Abraham to Jesus              

and 2,000 years from Jesus to right now.

So, the biblical timeline is a 7,000 year timeline and we are at right at the dawning of the 7th day.

I have a place in Glenrose, Texas and Glenrose is famous for good barbecue and dinosaur tracks. A good example of those dinosaurs tracks is like the one I have here which I found not even 50 yards from my house.

Theropod – it was made by something scientists call an

an acrocanthosaurus at least 65 million years ago.

There are 2 reasons I would like to identify why that is so offensive to Jesus-loving bible thumpers:

1) It obviously goes against our understanding of the Bible. 

It is one thing to challenge your understanding and another thing to challenge your faith.

Know the difference between a challenge to your understanding and a test of your faith. 

I think it’s real important to be honest about what you think you understand, what you’re not sure about, and when you don’t know how to answer something to be honest about that. Just say, “I’ve got nothing for you on that.”

There are all kinds of timelines.

The first of Tishrei serves as the New Year for several purposes, the best known being the New Year for the civil calendar, or “the new year for seasons.”

The second new year is 15 Shevat – the New Year for trees.

The third Jewish new year is 1 Nissan, which corresponds to the season of the redemption from Egypt and the birth of the Israelite nation.

Jonathan Cahn, a messianic Jewish scholar, calculates Jesus was born and died on 1 Nissan making a complete circuit and fulfilling that he is the beginning and end of all things.

The last new year, 1 Elul, is the New Year for the tithing of cattle.

There is also the Ecclesiastes 3 timeline of times and seasons/

So much of the religion verses science arguments are actually The religion of science verses the faith of Christianity.

When a guy like Carl Sagan says science is not compatible with anything spiritual, he is saying that science has all the answers.

Believe it or not, science has its limits. If you doubt me, I suggest you submit a grant to the National Science Foundation with the following introduction and see how much funding you receive:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty happy that the Founding Fathers didn’t wait to see the results of scientific method of verification called the seven-year democracy pragmatic trials before going forward with the Declaration of Independence. 

Science does not have all the answers and to declare science to be absolute truth is not a study but a religion.

What I am talking about is the difference between theory and truth.

Truth-based theory (an agenda for the Kingdom)

Anti-truth-based theory (an anti-Christ agenda)

Based on a worldview that is not only un-friendly to the idea of Jesus Christ being God, but is actually hostile to the idea of God at all.

You are made to be creative.

You are made to imagine.

You are made to ask questions and search for deep truth.

Whether it’s on timelines or how God thinks about things,

your identity in Christ or the difference you can make and are charged to make – whatever you create or imagine  needs to be with a very real intention.

You are either motivated because of your faith or you  are motivated to pursue something and keep God out of it.

“Whatever does not proceed from faith is sin.”

This or That 3: Faith that Works

The Bible says in one place “this” and in another, it’s “that.” Some say, “It’s this” and some say, “It’s that.” “This or that?”

This or that 1: Stable is as Stable Does – getting fixed in your faith

• TESTING 101: God will test you but He will not tempt you.
• A testing from the devil always comes in the form of accusation and tempting.
• Testing from the Father comes in the form of proving and qualifying for reward.
• “And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.”
• LUKE 11:4 (PTV) …LEAD US AWAY FROM THE PLACES WHERE WE WILL FAIL …
• So, we’ve got to be fixed in our faith toward the Father.

This or that part 2: The Point of the Blade of Offense

OFF-ENDED: NO LONGER IN A FIXED POSITION 

• THIS OR THAT?
• Great judgment comes from the person who offends everybody because offense is bad (Luke 17)
• King Jesus offends everybody because it is good (Isaiah 8 & 1 Peter 2 )
• IF YOU OFF-END SOMEBODY WHO IS FIXED ON JESUS AND YOU TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEIR IMMATURITY, GOD WILL HOLD YOU RESPONSIBLE.
• IF GOD OFF-ENDS YOU, IT IS BECAUSE YOU ARE FIXED IN A POSITION THAT ISN’T HIM. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO BE MATURE AND REFIX ON HIM.

THIS OR THAT 3: FAITH THAT WORKS

• Ephesians 2:1-3 – And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
• This is the environments in which we see, hear, live and work and the atmospheres and spiritual conditions of our homes, hearts and minds.
• It’s also about the culture of how we live together at work, in the family, church and in government.          

Control the narrative and force the values.

• Ephesians 2:4-9 – But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

FAITH WITHOUT WORKS IS DEAD

• James 2:14-26 – What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also

ONE KIND OF FAITH

• Ephesians 2:8-9 – For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

ANOTHER KIND OF FAITH

• Faith without works is dead.
• James 2:17, 26  – Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead…26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

WHY THE CONTRADICTION?  IT’S NOT A CONTRADICTION.

• THERE IS THE KIND OF FAITH THAT IS FAITH UNTO SALVATION WHICH IS GOD GETTING YOU INTO HEAVEN
• THEN THERE IS THE KIND OF FAITH THAT IS A GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT – WHICH IS YOU GETTING HEAVEN INTO THIS EARTH
• That’s a when you become victorious. That’s when you see tremendous change and transformation.
• One kind of faith is the gift of God toward salvation. That requires the work of Jesus. But the other kind of faith is the gift of God unto the Holy Ghost.
• In other words, one gift of faith is to get you from this earth into heaven.
• The other gift of faith is to get heaven into this earth through you.

Part 2: GET UP AND GO! The power of getting up and going

And the eunuch said, “See, here is water. What hinders me from being baptized?”

37 Then Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.”

And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”

38 So he commanded the chariot to stand still. Part 3: A BIG PICTURE VISIONARY

Romans 12:1 (NKJV) – I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1 (AMPC) – I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
Romans 12:1 (PTV) – In light of how merciful God has been to you, I want to urge you – even beg you, brothers – to decide to dedicate your entire life – everything you are responsible for – as a living sacrifice, totally devoted (Holy) and totally dedicated to glorifying God, which is how you rationally and intelligently serve and worship God.
I want to urge you brothers…
The aim of Romans 12:1–2 is that all of life would become “spiritual worship.” Verse 1: “Present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” The aim of all human life in God’s eyes is that Christ would be made to look as valuable as He is. Worship means using our minds, hearts and bodies to express the worth of God and all He is for us in Jesus. There is a way to live — a way to love — that does that.
How valuable God is to you determines how much your life worships Him. Worship is “worth–ship.”

GOD IS COUNTING UPON YOU TO ACT LIKE YOU’RE SAVED – TO ACT LIKE YOU ARE VICTORIOUS – to act like God is amazing and has made your life amazing.
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO THE KING THAT HIS PEOPLE ARE ENCOURAGED AND EMPOWERED BELIEVERS FULL OF HOPES, DREAMS, FAITH AND CONFIDENCE. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO THE KING THAT THE PEOPLE IN HIS KINGDOM ARE SO EMPOWERED, THEY TAKE ON HELL WITH A WATER PISTOL AND COURAGEOUSLY MOVE THE KINGDOM FORWARD.
Our mission team just got back from the Amzon jungle where they saw signs, miracles and wonders…
Our prison teams are faithfully serving and courageously preaching the Gospel of freedom in total defiance to the obvious spirit of bondage there.
Our rescue teams are saving nearly 100 girls out of sexual slavery every single month throughout the world.
Our Food Bank is giving away close to 500,000 pounds of food every single month to poor and hurting families, isolated elderly people, and single moms and dads.
And you don’t do that if your scared. You don’t do that if you’re demoralized, depressed, balled up or locked down. You have to be free, full of the Holy Spirit and determined to advance the Kingdom for the sake of the King’s heart!

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO HELL THAT YOU ARE DEMORALIZED AND UNWILLING TO ACT.
The Kingdom of hell’s fundamental belief systems are designed to keep you a slave. This is one way to put you in bondage:
Hell says, “It’s somebody else’s responsibility to advance you.”
Just turn everything over to some benevolent pharaoh or worldly king.
1 Samuel 8:10-22 (ESV) Samuel’s Warning Against Kings – So Samuel told all the words of the Lord to the people who were asking for a king from him. 11 He said, “These will be the ways of the king who will reign over you: he will take your sons and appoint them to his chariots and to be his horsemen and to run before his chariots. 12 And he will appoint for himself commanders of thousands and commanders of fifties, and some to plow his ground and to reap his harvest, and to make his implements of war and the equipment of his chariots. 13 He will take your daughters to be perfumers and cooks and bakers. 14 He will take the best of your fields and vineyards and olive orchards and give them to his servants. 15 He will take the tenth of your grain and of your vineyards and give it to his officers and to his servants. 16 He will take your male servants and female servants and the best of your young men and your donkeys, and put them to his work. 17 He will take the tenth of your flocks, and you shall be his slaves. 18 And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the Lord will not answer you in that day.” 19 But the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel. And they said, “No! But there shall be a king over us…”

You don’t need another King! King Jesus has appointed YOU to be a king! He’s the King of Kings.
Hell says, “It’s somebody else’s fault you are not successful.”
Jesus says, “Take up your bed and walk!”

PROMISED LAND LIVING
Deuteronomy 6:11
Houses you didn’t build or fill up.
Wells you didn’t have to dig.
Vineyards you didn’t have to plant.
“when you have eaten and are full”
This is both a promise and a warning.
Luke 12:48 – …to much who is given much is expected.
You are responsible for having the big picture that your entire life is supposed to glorify God.

Romans 12:2 (PTV) – Don’t let the world mold, shape and define you. Instead, be transformed and miraculously changed so you can show proof what God’s heart and desire is – whether it’s good, acceptable or completed to the fullest extent.
prove: to throughly examine and confirm its authentic
Embracing whatever is going to happen or embracing the responsibility of making the will of God happen.
We have to understand our role in fulfilling God’s purpose.
I have a role in influencing the results of my life.
That’s why He commands us to not be dismayed or discouraged.

The GOOD will of God is always the beginning stage of God’s heart and desire (will).
THE GOODNESS OF GOD BRINGS MEN TO REPENTANCE AND REPENTANCE IS ALWAYS THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY.
Romans 12:21 – IT IS GOOD THAT OVERCOMES EVIL

It’s the tip of the spear when the arrow of the Kingdom comes into some new territory.
We are commanded to overcome evil by displacing it with the goodness of God.
Acts10:38, Jesus went about doing good: Any definition of the sovereignty of God that allows for evil to exist as the will and purpose of God is a blasphemous definition.

THE ACCEPTABLE WILL OF GOD IS DIFFERENT. IT HAS TO DO WITH WHAT GOD IS COMPATIBLE WITH EVEN THOUGH IT’S REALLY NOT COMPLETE – IT’S NOT YET WHAT IT SHOULD BE.
God can only manifest in what He is compatible with.
ACCEPTABLE – “COMPATIBLE WITH GOD’S PRESENCE”
PERFECT DOESN’T MEAN FLAWLESS. IT MEANS “COMPLETED.”
THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD IS WHEN GOD GETS HIS WAY – ALL THE WAY – AND HIS HEART’S DESIRE IS WRAPPED UP AND COMPLETED.

marriage, finances, ministry, occupation, your want life, your dream life, your family life, your house and how you live, your goals and what you achieve.
Grow, Go and Grab it! It’s not up to anybody but you.
Nobody else is coming to make it happen for you.
You’re not a victim or a slave. You’re a bad motor scooter.
Fight for it. Take up your bed and walk.
Let God give you a fresh and much-greater vision with clear definition that all of your life can and must advance. All of your life belongs to God and you are going to prove how wonderful His heart is by moving forward in every way you possibly can.
The reasonable way I truly show how valuable God is to me or how I worship him is by presenting my entire life as a living sacrifice.

Part 4: THE WILL & THE WAYS OF GOD

There are 2 Greek words
1) It’s going to happen no matter what.
2) His wish, His heart’s desires

The will of God:
Acts 5:34  – Then one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while. 35 And he said to them: “Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do regarding these men. 36 For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him were scattered and came to nothing. 37 After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. 38 And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; 39 but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it—lest you even be found to fight against God.”
Gamaliel was a first-century Jewish rabbi and a leader in the Jewish Sanhedrin. Gamaliel is mentioned a couple of times in Scripture as a famous and well-respected teacher. Indirectly, Gamaliel had a profound effect on the early church.
Gamaliel was a Pharisee!
This is what a Pharisee says: “If it’s a God’s will, it will happen. If it not God’s will, it won’t.”

You might need a pharisee-ectomy.
Terrible things happen and the conclusions we come to are not the truth.
Example 1: Somebody got cancer and during that time, the family rallied around each other. We can truly see the goodness of God in the situation so we begin to accept the idea that God brought cancer into that persons life.
Example 2: Somebody commits a terrible crime that really hurts somebody. In prison, that person gets saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. If your not careful, you will begin to think it was God’s will that the person perpetrated the crime and the people were hurt.
God brings His goodness and His purpose into things that are not His goodness and His purpose.
The will of God is also called the “Kingdom of God”
Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Kingdom is where the King has dominion
Any definition of the sovereignty of God that allows for evil to exist as the will and purpose of God, is a blasphemous definition.
Any definition of the sovereignty of God that doesn’t allow for my responsibility to partner with Him is lazy theology.
“Mystery and Revelation”

There are levels of God’s will just like there are levels of your will – things you prefer or value over other things. “Good, acceptable and perfect will of God.”

The GOOD will of God
Is always the beginning stages of God’s heart and desire (will).
IT IS THE GOODNESS OF GOD THAT BRINGS MEN TO REPENTANCE. REPENTANCE IS ALWAYS THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY.
IT IS GOOD THAT OVERCOMES EVIL (Romans 12:21)

Part 6 – WATCH AND REMEMBER

Deuteronomy 8:18 “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
Deuteronomy 8:18 (PTV)And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability, capacity and supernatural power to Grow Go and Grab an unstoppable momentum of finances, assets and influence. 
This is covenant REMEMBERING AND BEING WATCHFUL 
HOW WE ARE REMEMBERED,  MANY TIMES, DEPENDS UPON HOW WE WERE WILLING TO REMEMBER THINGS WITHIN OUR LIFETIME. 
One of the ways we finish well is we MARK VICTORY AND WE GIVE GOD GLORY FOR IT 
WE WE HOOK UP WITH THE SPIRIT HE HELPS US REMEMBER RIGHT THINGS 
John 14:24But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
Remembering the right things will motivate you to win battles. 
Remembering the wrong things discourages you to the point of defeat.

King David is famous for saying Psalms 20:7Some trust in chariots and some in horses but we will remember the name of the lord our God. 
Horse and chariots are what you need for deliverance in the midst of terrible battle. David is saying “All I need for certain deliverance is to remember the name of the Lord.” 
How I know God personally.   
God is such an awesome God that He can choose what He remembers and He can choose what He will never remember again.
He is world famous for His sea of forgetfulness because He chooses to remember His love for us and His covenant with us more than He remembers how we have wronged Him. 
I will not forget.  God is like that. He will not forget you. He will not leave you. He will not forsake you. 
Genesis 9:16,…And the bow shall be in the cloud that I may remember the everlasting covenant…            (a bow of strength) 
Even the thief on the Cross turned to Jesus and said, “Remember me Lord when you enter into your kingdom.” 

Since God refuses to remember what we have done against him and he refuses to forget how much he loves us, we should be people who refuse to forget.  
In the King James, there are 148 verses with the word “remember.”

In Galatians 4:28 you and I are called Children of promise 
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.Psalms 27:13
Start off by doing a google or a bing search on scriptures on Gods promises 
Then after that you need to begin to seek the lord and ask God to help you know His specific promises for you personally 
Jeremiah 29:11For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
IF YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE WITH HOPE YOU ARE GOING TO LIVE WITH THE CONSTANT MEMORY OF THE PROMISES GOD HAS GIVEN YOU 
2. THE KINGDOM PRINCIPLE OF REMEMBERING The miracles God has done in your life  This list will keep you trusting God
God Almighty warned the people of Israel do not forget the miracles I did for you. Don’t forget how I brought you out of Egypt. Don’t forget. 
You have good reason to trust me. 
I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago. Ps 77:11

Remembering how blessed you are will cause you to be thankful.

Rick Warren writes in The Purpose Driven Life, “I have been at the bedside of many people in their final moments, when they stand on the edge of eternity, and I have never heard anyone say, ‘Bring me my diplomas! I want to look at them one more time. Show me my awards, my medals, that gold watch I was given.’ When life on earth is ending, people don’t surround themselves with objects. What we want around us is people – people we love and have relationships with. In our final moments we all realize that relationships are what life is all about.”
Philippians 1:3-4, NIV I thank God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy.

6.  THE KINGDOM PRINCIPLE OF REMEMBERING   Galatians 2:10 – Remember the poor  This list will keep you humble and keep you effective in the Kingdom 

7.    THE KINGDOM PRINCIPLE OF REMEMBERING 2 Timothy 2:8  – Remember that Jesus Christ is raised from the dead 

REMEMBER that life has slapped death in the face. Remember that JESUS called “The Shot” and prophesied that on the 3rd day he would raise again.  Remember, for those of us who are in Christ, death has no sting and the grave has no victory. Remember, Jesus didn’t just raise from the dead. He was the firstThis is what I remember when I am facing my own mortality. This is what I think of when I begin to feel overwhelmed. I will remember that Jesus Christ is raised from the dead. 
And when I remember that Jesus is raised from the dead is remember that nothing is impossible 
REMEMBERING AND BEING WATCHFUL QUALIFY US FOR ESCAPING TERRIBLE THINGS AND ENTERING INTO WONDERFUL THINGS.

Part 7: BORN FOR GREATNESS

Luke 15 – The Parable of the Lost Coin

• The woman described is a poor peasant, and the ten silver coins, are ten days’ wages. They likely represent the family savings. The coins may also have been the woman’s dowry, worn as an ornament. Both theories may be true. Either one explains the urgency her search, and the extent of her joy when the missing coin is found.
• The woman’s diligent activity in searching may symbolize either Jesus’ own activity or that of God the Father. The rejoicing of the angels is understood to be rejoicing along with God.

GO, GROW & GRAB DESTINY & PREDESTINATION

• Matthew 22:1-8 (NKJV) – The Parable of the Wedding Feast: And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said: 2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son, 3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come. 4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business. 6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. 7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.’
• Jesus is talking about the amazing invitation, the honor of the host, and the great insult of refusal.
• The world’s version of destiny and the King’s version of destiny are too completely different things.
• Webster defines destiny as: the events that will necessarily happen to a particular person or thing in the future.
• “She was unable to control her own destiny.”
• the hidden power believed to control what will happen in the future; fate.
• “He believes in destiny.”

God’s idea of destiny is pursuing what He has prepared for you.

• He takes it very personal when He calls or invites you into an amazing fellowship with Him. When He invites you into His house, He takes your response extremely personal.
• Remember, Matthew 22:4-8 says:
• Again, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; (to know me personally, experience my house and be part of my family) my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, (a feast of revenue and wealth) and all things are ready. (The very best you never had access to is available.) Come to the wedding.”’ 5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, (a place obviously inferior to what was being offered) another to his business. (a completely different agenda, worldview and mindset) 6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them. (turned hostile against the messengers and hated the message) 7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.’
• He calls them “murderers.” You murder your destiny and abort what God wants to birth through you when you refuse the life He has given you.
• He said, “I had it for them, but they wouldn’t grow, go and grab so they are not worthy. They had no value or worth for the wedding and the proof was they never arrived. They never showed up!

ARE YOU DRESSED FOR THE OCCASION?

• Matthew 22:9-12 – ‘Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’ 10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. 12 So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.
• He showed up but he showed up on his own terms.
• Like Cain, he didn’t conform his life to the things God had invited him to and God called him out on it.
• Matthew 22:13-14 – Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ 14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”

Many are called, but few have chosen

• Many are invited, but few choose to accept the invitation.
• Many are invited, but He only finds a few who end up in the chosen seat or the incredible place of honor.
• Your predestination comes in a package that looks like what I might call “Unlimited Opportunity” but it doesn’t automatically happen. It only happens if you accept the call or the invitation.
• You need to have the audacity, faith, courage, determination and the love for Jesus to Grow, Go and Grab it!

“Whosoever will” and predestination

• Romans 8:29 “those God foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son.”
• Ephesians 1:5 – God “predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ.”
• Ephesians 1:11 – “in him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will.”
• 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV) – For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
• He says YES and then we have to say “Amen,” “Let it be,”  “So be it,”  “LET IT BE DONE,” or “LET’S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!”

KINGDOM PARADOX ON THIS LABOR DAY
YOU HAVE TO WORK HARD TO ENTER REST

Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am [a]gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

The role we have is not fight for peace in Jesus because Jesus gives us that. The role is to not be pulled out of it.

You have to Humble yourself
AN UNYIELDING HEART KEEPS YOU FROM REST
You have to know Gods presence in your life

IN HEBREWS FOUR WE LEARN THAT REST IS NOT INACTIVITY

Hebrews 4

Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear ( examine and take serious ) lest any of you seem to have come short of it.

2 For indeed ( IT’S REAL ) the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said:
“So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest,’”
although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4 For He has spoken in a certain place of the seventh day in this way: “And God rested on the seventh day from all His works”; 5 and again in this place: “They shall not enter My rest.”

Do not harden your hearts.”

Part 2: Our Intent for Every Service

“Come and see” or “Go and tell”

If, like the disciples who came to the tomb on that first Easter morning, we also “come and see” that Christ has truly risen from the dead, it will change our outlook on everything in life. If the resurrection changes your outlook, you will be compelled to “go and tell” others.

A lot of us do the either/or and we need to keep that from happening here. It’s kinda like your belly button. Are you an “inny” or an “outy?”

If the house doesn’t work, nothing we do outside the church works. If it doesn’t happen here, it doesn’t happen in all the other places we stomp around in.

WHEN IT COMES TO “COME AND SEE,” we have to create a model where people can actually come and see. We have changed that model though the years. We will continue to change it as the Lord gives us fresh revelation and insight as to the new wine He pouring out into OpenDoor Church.

COME AND SEE
We proclaim Him: weekend services
Ephesians 3:10 – “His intent was that through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known…”

There are four things you can expect to happen every time you attend a weekend service. I call these the “Four at OpenDoor.”

Celebration
Psalm 122:1 – “I was glad when they said to me, let us go to the house of the Lord.”

John 4:23-24 – “…the Father seeks worshippers…and His worshippers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

Environment, atmosphere and culture.
The prince of the power of the air.

Inspiration
1 Corinthians 14:24-25 – “But if an unbeliever or someone who does not understand comes in… he will be convinced by all that he is a sinner and will be judged by all, and the secrets of his heart will be laid bare. So he will fall down and worship God, exclaiming, ‘God is really among you!’”

SIGNS, MIRACLES AND WONDERS (THE PRAYER TENT WITH THE ELDERS & THE FOOD BANK)

Preparation

Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had known all the works of the Lord which He had done for Israel.

Part 4: The Father’s Heart is Outrageous

Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father” (John 14:5–6, 8–9).

“He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature.”

John 12:44-45 – Then Jesus cried out and said, “He who believes in Me, believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me. 45 And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.

For Jesus “is the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15). “In him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily”

1 John 3:1  – Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!

We’re not called slaves or servants.

We’re not even limited to being called friends because friends don’t receive the inheritance.

Sons and daughters receive the inheritance.

Any time the kids of the King get together, we should honor the King. The heart of the Father is everything.

THE FATHER’S HEART IS DIFFERENT FROM THE WORLD’S HEART.

WE SHOULD BE FASCINATED WITH THE WONDER OF THE FATHER’S HEART.

• We practice the presence of God and prepare the way of the Lord by being sold out to the Fathers heart!

• God’s love is not logical. God’s love is not reasonable. It’s outrageous and doesn’t make sense.

CHILDLIKE FAITH COMES FROM CHILDLIKE WONDER.

Matthew 18:3 – “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”

Mystery and Faith / Revelation and Wisdom

Ephesians 1:17 – …that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.

• It’s outrageous how God loves us.

• Getting involved in the messes of life.

• Helping people when it’s questionable if we should help them or not. 

• If we have the ability to help, we need to help:

• Hebrews 13:16 – But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

• Let your yes be yes and your no be no. 

“Brandt Jean’s Act of Grace Toward His Brother’s Killer Sparks a Debate Over Forgiving” (video)

• He blew everybody’s mind with the love of God.
• He answered the evil that had come to him with a different perspective of the goodness of God.
• He elevated the name of Jesus in the midst of horrible personal suffering.
• He showed the entire world there is a different way to live and there is something else here that matters: the Father’s heart – and people hate him for it!!!!
• Jesus on the Cross blew everybody’s mind when he said, “Father forgive them. They don’t know what they are doing.”

“He needs a company of people that He can use as a visual aid to the earth. He is looking for a prototype. I believe that God is building prototype churches all over the world right now. That His people, who will no longer be business as usual, who are after something more.” – Graham Cooke 

We can know the Heart of the Father. We can have the heart of the Father.

The heart of the Father is for people: The whole world (John 3:16)

• The lost…people like us.
• Not willing that any should perish (not just some people)
• No one is beyond the heart of God.

He is the Father who runs to his children

• God searched for Adam in the Garden (Gen 3:9)
• He runs to his lost sons and daughters (Luke 15:20)
• God is still seeking and saving the lost. (Luke 19:10)
• He is still running to you!

He is a responsible Father: Creator – Savior

• He is saving the world he created!
• We are his children (we are responsible)
• We need the Heart of the Father

REPEAT: Father, I belong to You.

Jesus has the heart of the Father – John 1:14

“If you have seen me, you have seen the Father” – John 14:7

• He emptied himself (Philippians 2:7)
• He wept over Jerusalem (Luke 19:41-44)
• He had compassion on the multitude (Mt 9:36)
• He came from the bosom of the Father (John 1:18)

John 14:6 – One way to the Father

…the Heart of the Father…He gets personally involved in our mess!

Now we can have the heart of the Father in Christ

• We are complete in Him (Col 2:8-10)

We are seated with Christ….

• Because we belong to Him
• Because we know we are loved by Him
• Because we know Him… we can share His heart
• I know whom I have believed in – 2 Tim 1:12

REPEAT: I AM COMPLETE IN HIM!

Our Problem: “Sin goes way beyond disobedience. The deepest problem of sin is that it makes us incapable of knowing the Father…we cannot know the Father’s heart. It makes us so blind that it is impossible for us to see the Father’s face.” – C. Baxter Kruger

We can stop living for love, and live in His love

• Stop looking for love in all the wrong places.
• Hug your children!
• Love your dad.

Conclusion: We can know the heart of the Father, that we belong to Him, and love others because we are not living for love. We are living in His love, in the heart of the Father.

• Do we hear the sound of heaven…weeping for people?
• Why should I share the Gospel? I know who I have believed.
• Who are we running to? Who are we weeping for?

We say “I give you my heart…” Maybe we should say, ”Give me your heart.”

Let my heart beat with the heartbeat of God.

Let my heart be broken by what breaks His heart.

God is chasing you. Will you come to Him?

You need a heart transplant – He wants to give you His heart!

Let Him wrap His loving arms around you…and give you His heart.

Prayer: Father, You love us! Give us your heart of love.

THE VERY LAST WORD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT IS THE WORD CURSE, AND GOD DECLARES THAT WHEN THE HEARTS OF THE CHILDREN ARE AWAY FROM THE HEART OF THEIR FATHER, EVERYTHING IS CURSED.

But that’s not going to be the end of your book.

THE VERY LAST VERSE OF THE NEW TESTAMENT IS A BLESSING THAT SAYS, “MAY THE GRACE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST BE YOU ALL, AMEN.”

And there is a grace for us to yield our hearts toward. Not only do we choose to give our hearts to God, we choose to received His heart into our lives. This  changes every part of our life from cursed to blessed.

That’s my dad. That’s my Father and when I see Jesus, I have seen the Father.

Part 5: The voice of women in the house

Proverbs 14:1-2 (NKJV)

The wise woman builds her house,

But the foolish pulls it down with her hands.

2 He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord,

But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.

If God offers you righteousness, the way you walk in it is to love what He loves and hate what He hates.

Proverbs 14:3

In the mouth of a fool is a rod of pride,

But the lips of the wise will preserve them.

A rod is about destruction and causing pain.

Proverbs 14:4

Where no oxen are, the Stall is clean;

But much increase comes by the strength of an ox.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MESS-LESS UPGRADE.

Proverbs 14:5

A faithful witness does not lie,

But a false witness will utter lies.

A FALSE WITNESS IS ABOUT having an agenda to destroy somebody and these always run static, like interference and distortion of truth. It manifests in all parts of their life.

Proverbs 14:6

A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it,

But knowledge is easy to him who understands.

A scoffer or a mocker is somebody who has a different agenda than the Kingdom.

Proverbs 14:7

Go from the presence of a foolish man,

When you do not perceive in him the lips of knowledge.

Don’t listen to knuckleheads. Get out from under the influence of people who don’t walk in the Spirit.

Proverbs 14:8

The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way,

But the folly of fools is deceit.

“The way” is how you live your life. It’s your journey in Christ. It’s all about knowing your assignment, mandate and calling.

prudent: acting with or showing care and thought for the future.

Proverbs 14:9

Fools mock at sin,

But among the upright there is favor.

Do you see this trend in Psalms 14?

• Wisdom and foolishness
• Favor and judgment
• The faithful and the false
• The way of life and the way of death

Proverbs 4:1

The wise woman builds her house,

THIS IS A GENDER SPECIFIC SCRIPTURE.

There is no innate inequality and injustice built into the Kingdom. The Bible is clear on gender equality. It is also clear on gender specific.

There is a feminine voice in the masculine landscape of scripture.

When you have a value for the Kingdom of heaven invading this earth, you have a value for roles and assignment. There are specific roles to be played out by men and specific roles to be played out by women.

A wise man builds his house on the rock.

When a man builds a house, he thinks about the structures.

• Physical structures
• Spiritual structures
• The pecking order of the relational structures

That’s why Jesus said a wise man builds his house upon a rock.

A metal barn is a big giant garage to work in and store a boat and man toys.

• Precisely valuable
• Unparalleled
• There is only one you – UNIQUE
• One thing you can do better than anyone else, is be yourself.

NOW THAT DIDN’T JUST HAPPEN. IT HAPPENED BY GODS DESIGN BECAUSE GOD LOVES THE UNIQUE PART OF YOU. God has a huge value for unusual and unique things. He doesn’t think like a poor person. God thinks like somebody who is rich and He treasures things that are priceless because they are unique.

The part of you that isn’t like anybody else is extremely valuable and useful and purposeful to God.

The women in Solomon’s house tore it down.

There is a feminine voice in the masculine landscape of scripture. Female images of God in the Bible.

Genesis 1:27 – Women and Men created in God’s image

“MAN (Humankind) was created as God’s reflection: in the divine image God created them; female and male, God made them.”

Hosea 11:3-4 – God is described as a mother

God: “Yet it was I who taught Ephraim to walk, I who took them up in my arms; but they did not know that I healed them. I led them with cords of human kindness, with bands of love. I was to them like those who lift infants to their cheeks. I bent down to them and fed them.”

Hosea 13:8 – God described as a mama bear

“Like a bear robbed of her cubs, I will attack them and tear them asunder…”

Deuteronomy 32:11-12 – God described as a mother eagle

“Like the eagle that stirs up its nest, and hovers over its young, God spreads wings to catch you, and carries you on pinions.”

Deuteronomy 32:18 – God who gives birth

“You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.”

Isaiah 66:13 – God as a comforting mother

God: “As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”

Isaiah 49:15 – God compared to a nursing mother

God: “Can a woman forget her nursing child, or show no compassion for the child of her womb? Even these may forget, yet I will not forget you.”

Isaiah 42:14 – God as a woman in labor

God: “For a long time I have held my peace, I have kept myself still and restrained myself; now I will cry out like a woman in labor, I will gasp and pant.”

Jesus: “Or what woman having ten silver coins, is she loses one of them, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it? When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin that I had lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

GOD UNDERSTANDS WOMEN BECAUSE THE FEMININE PART OF YOU DOESN’T COME FROM YOU. THE FEMININE PART OF YOU COMES FROM GOD.

Ladies do not lose your feminine voice.

Part 6: The House of Prayer

Prayer is powerful because it’s relational. Prayer is powerful because it’s relational. Everything in the Kingdom is relation before it’s functional. 
RELATIONAL CHRISTIANITY IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE CHURCH JESUS IS BUILDING.
As people of destiny, we are called to influence everything that happens through our interactions with God. 
We are the House of God – the family of God. We are the community where God proves to the world we are not living powerless lives. We stand in strategic authority as a house of prayer. 
“Of what infinite importance is the place the intercessor holds in the Kingdom of God!” – E.M. Bounds
Jesus was quoting Jeremiah 7:11 when he said in Matthew 21:3 
“It is written, ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of thieves.’ ”
Everybody gets robbed when the House is not a house of prayer.
Isaiah 56:7 (NKJV)“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain,And make them joyful in My house of prayer.Their burnt offerings and their sacrificesWill be accepted on My altar;For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
We no longer offer a sacrifice of blood. Today we offer the sacrifice of praise.
In the New Testament, sacrifice looks like PRAYER, PRAISE, AND THANKSGIVING.
Prayer, praise, and thanksgiving are almost inseparable, and they are most often offered together. Thankfulness is a peace offering (Leviticus 7:11-13). It produces peace (I Timothy 2:1-2).
Psalm 141:2Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. 
⦁ IF YOU ARE NOT IN OVER YOUR HEAD, you will never be desperate.⦁ IF YOU ARE NOT DESPERATE, you will never be broken. ⦁ IF YOU ARE NOT BROKEN, you will never be willing to sacrifice and give all.⦁ IF YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO SACRIFICE, there will be nothing for the Fire of God to fall upon on. ⦁ FIRE FALLS UPON SACRIFICE.
Matthew 6:5-8“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”
A public church, community, family and house of prayer is full of people who pray. 
Matthew 6:7-13And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:10 Our Father who is in heaven,Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.11 Your will be doneOn earth as it is in heaven.12 Give us this day our daily bread.And forgive us our debts,As we forgive our debtors.13And do not lead us into temptation,But deliver us from the evil one.For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
This is a blueprint. What Jesus teaches us is both a privilege and an opportunity.
Jesus knew the pleasure of God’s company. WHEN YOU GET ALONE WITH GOD, THIS IS THE KIND OF STUFF THE FATHER WANTS TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT.  
Our Father in heaven,Hallowed be Your name.
It’s Holy How I know you. Make yourself famous for how good You treat me. 
Matthew 6:10Your kingdom come.Your will be doneOn earth as it is in heaven.

Provision 
Matthew 4:4But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’
John 6: Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger…”
THE TABLE OF SHOW BREAD How God shows up is bread – the bread of His presence.
Psalm 37:25I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread.
Matthew 6:12And forgive us our debts,As we forgive our debtors.
How we treat each other matters. Our mindset toward each other matters.
God wants to talk to you about how you deal with other people. 
Matthew 6:13And do not lead us into temptation,But deliver us from the evil one.

Lead me not into temptation: ⦁ God will always you lead you to where you have an option, but He will not lead you to temptation. ⦁ Lead me away from places you know I will fail and into places where you I will overcome. ⦁ God is a freedom fanatic. He will always lead you into places where you are free to choose. ⦁ The Holy Spirit will lead you into a conflict, but only the ones you can win. 

Matthew 6:13For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
This model prayer starts with knowing how awesome God is and finished by knowing how awesome God is. 
We are praying over our lost ones today. We are believing for salvations. We are believing for transformed lives.

Pray that God would give them a heart to know Him.(Jeremiah 24:7)
Pray that God would give them a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 11:19)
Pray that God would put his Spirit within them. (Ezekiel 36:27)
Pray that God would open their hearts to believe the gospel. (Acts 16:14)

I DECLARE THINGS LIKE ⦁ No weapon formed against me shall prosper. ⦁ When I pray for people, they are healed.⦁ When I speak to people, they are transformed.⦁ When I demonstrate the Father’s heart, they see Jesus. ⦁ I am the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, and highly favored of the Lord.

“Virtually all of the Bible leads us to praise God, thank God, cry to God, and confess to God.” When you pray, use your prayer book – the Bible.

So what about Prayer? What can we expect when we pray
2 Chronicles 7:14 – If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
The body of Christ has a task and a responsibility to pray.We want to change the world for Christ. It’s a huge task for all of us, but we do it one life at a time. We are all in this together. We want to see people’s lives changed all over the world before Jesus’ return to earth, but the task is huge, and we need the right tools to do it. The most essential tool is prayer. Only through prayer can we get the job done. There is strength and power in prayer that can change the world.

The King’s SpeechOn May 27, 1940, King George VI called for a national day of prayer following the realisation that the British troops in Northern France were at risk of ‘total annihilation’. Three extraordinary events occurred following that day of prayer.
First, Hitler overruled his Generals and halted the advance of his troops (something that has never been fully explained).
Second, a storm of unprecedented scale grounded the Luftwaffe that was poised to attack the evacuating troops.
And third, despite the storm, a serene calm settled over the Channel days later which enabled a vast armada of boats to come and rescue the escaping men. Either this is an extraordinary set of coincidences, or this was the hand of God in response to a nation on its knees praying.
Prayer has the power to make a huge difference to our lives and the world around us.
Prayer changes circumstances, people even history.
Psalm 34:17  – When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.
We exercise our authority in prayer.God responds to our prayers.

Philippians 4:6  – Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
Pray more worry less
Mark 11:24  – Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
John 15:7 – If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray without ceasing

On Paul’s second missionary journey, he visited city after city to establish the Gospel. It seemed he was doing everything right. Churches “increased in number daily” (Acts 16:5). It was everything he could have hoped for. But one night, that changed. During the night, Paul had a vision. In it, he saw a man of Macedonia, hundreds of miles away from where Paul was. The man looked to Paul and said, “Come over into Macedonia, and help us” (Acts 16:9). Paul realized he needed to get to Macedonia and help this man and others who were praying for him to come. He went immediately, and there he performed miracles and baptized many. It was because this man was praying that Paul had this night vision.

The news media landscape has changed dramatically over the past few decades. Trust and confidence in the news has plummeted. The news media landscape has changed dramatically over the past few decades. Trust and confidence in the news has plummeted. 
BEHIND THE LOSS OF TRUE JOURNALISM IS A MINDSET.BEHIND THE MINDSET IS A SPIRIT.

People are very aware there is something bad wrong.The Gallup Poll asked a number of Americans over the past two decades how much trust and confidence they have in mass media reporting the news fully, accurately, and fairly. The percentage of people saying they had a great deal or fair amount of trust dropped from 53 percent in 1997 to 32 percent in 2016.
It’s somewhere in the mid-20 percent now in 20/20.

I remember in the early 90s, Pat Robertson and our friends at the 700 Club giving away bumper stickers saying, “I do not believe the liberal media.” 
I remember the first time I became aware of the bias. It was when Tom Brokaw refused to refer to us as “pro-life” and insisted on the term “anti-women rights.” 
People no longer trust the news media because of something called FAKE NEWS. 
Fake news is news, stories or hoaxes created to deliberately misinform or deceive an audience. 
Usually, these stories are created to either influence people’s views, push a political agenda or cause confusion. They are often profitable business for online publishers. Fake news stories can deceive people. 
Click baitThere’s an actual business model to this. Trump making billions of dollars off of 

Fake news ⦁ Fatty Arbuckle – silent film star from the 1920s⦁ Richard Jewel⦁ The hoax of the whistleblower⦁ The hoax of the impeachment ⦁ The hoax of the Jussie Smollett scandal ⦁ The hoax of the Covington Catholic High School boys from Kentucky
After a trial, CNN just paid millions of dollars – maybe up to $275 million – to that boy they portrayed as a racist and a hater. 
It’s not just sloppy journalism. It’s a lie and it’s intentionally misleading. 
Everyone has a responsibility to combat the scourge of fake news. This ranges from supporting investigative journalism, reducing financial incentives for fake news, and improving digital literacy among the general public.
Be determined to KNOW THE TRUTH. ⦁ False information is dangerous. ⦁ “Such situations can enable discriminatory and inflammatory ideas to enter public discourse and be treated as fact. Once embedded, such ideas can, in turn, be used to create scapegoats, normalize prejudices, harden “us-versus-them” mentalities and even, in extreme cases, to catalyze and justify violence.”⦁ John 8:32 – And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

JESUS WARNED US TO BE AWARE OF FAKE NEWS IN THE LAST DAYS Matthew 24:24 – For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

THE CATEGORIES OF MESSIAH AND PROPHET ARE NOT JUST RELIGIOUS.
A false messiah is a leader that rises up and promises “the answer is here.” He or she is a face of a movement that deceives you away from truth into something demonic and false. 
A false prophet is somebody who projects the future or trends that point to, or validate, that false messiah.
Socialism has a different face. Its doesn’t look horrible and ugly like Lenin, Marx or Castro. 
It comes in the form of beautiful women like AOC, Ilhan Omar and little girls like Greta Thunberg.  

There is a spirit that goes behind Fake NEWS.⦁ With every prophetic medium (news media) there is a spirit behind it. ⦁ 1 John 4:1-6 – Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, (a false messiah or leader who wants us to get behind his revolution for an anti-kingdom agenda) which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.

The Latin roots for “deceived” or “deception” are de- (from) + capere (to take or carry away). The Greek word in the New Testament that is translated as “deceived”  is πλανάομαι Planaomai.⦁ Planaomai literally means “to be carried off” or “to be led astray.”⦁ Those who are deceived are those who have been carried off or carried away by false teachings, trends, or the ways of this world.

The whole thing about fake news is really about who defines the narrative. Who will shape the way we think as a society? Who will form the values of the culture we live in? 

TRUST AND CONFIDENCE vs. LIES AND ANXIETY
I’m going to give you a prophetic voice that denies Jesus is the answer and one God is calling His people to turn away from:

THE CATEGORIES OF MESSIAH AND PROPHET ARE NOT JUST RELIGIOUS.
A false messiah is a leader that rises up and promises “the answer is here.” He or she is a face of a movement that deceives you away from truth into something demonic and false. 
A false prophet is somebody who projects the future or trends that point to, or validate, that false messiah.

These are people who know the word of God, maybe have even preached the word of God, but have fallen away. These people are way more dangerous than non-believers because they know enough of the truth to get into your head and plant a lie.
1 Timothy 4:1-4Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be refused if it is received with thanksgiving;
Can anyone think of people who run after deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons? The Church of Satan is growing. Google it. Here’s one headline from The Guardian:

That same article says, “Satanism is attracting counter-cultural Californians because it is seen as a community-based response to the Trump era.”
Who can think of anyone forbidding people to marry? Catholic priests &Buddhist monks – both have history of child molestationIf you’re gay, you can get married in the eyes of the law in most states, but not in the eyes of God.
Can you think of anyone who is commanding folks to abstain from the good foods God created for us to enjoy?
Doctors, nutritionists, and diet & fitness gurus telling us to be thin with this pill, that exercise or this diet.⦁ Keto⦁ Paleo⦁ Atkins⦁ Low-Fat⦁ Low- Sodium⦁ Low-Carb⦁ Bariatric surgeries that limit food intake⦁ WE COULD TALK ABOUT THIS ALL NIGHT!
Then there’s the health scare of the week. This week butter is bad for you and you need to stop eating it right away. Next week, some researcher says butter is awesome and you should eat more of it.
Case in point – milk
I grew up drinking milk and was told calcium was good for me. It made for strong bones and teeth. Today, there are all kinds of reports from nutritionists, real and fake, that say cow’s milk is the devil. 
We’ve seen the rise of 10 different kinds of “milk” – almond milk, rice milk, soy milk, cashew milk – but none of them are really milk. You can’t get milk from a nut.
It’s all about money and marketshare and people believe it. They’re paying big bucks for these alternatives. Meanwhile, dairy farmers are committing suicide in alarming numbers because they’re losing their family farms.Borden Dairy here in Dallas just filed bankruptcy. 
These competing voices are not harmless!! It is about control and it’s dangerous.
DO NOT JOIN A MOB. STAY OFF THE BANDWAGON. YOU WILL NEVER FIND JESUS IN THE MOB!

WHAT SHOULD BELIEVERS BE DOING TO KEEP FROM FALLING FOR THESE WOLVES IN SHEEPS CLOTHING?
Jude 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.

If you want to have a real relationship with God, you have to have real dialogue. God designed human beings to learn communication skills and language. 
It’s not a joke when God says we wants us to know Him. 
TO KNOW THE HEART OF GOD SO WE CAN RECOGNIZE THE VOICE OF GOD AND TO HAVE THE GUTS AND THE CHARACTER TO CARRY OUT WHAT GOD IS SPEAKING  IS EVERYTHING IN 2020.  

GOD IS SPEAKING TO YOU, A RIGHT NOW WORD THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING. A word in direct contrast to what the world is saying and we must develop a huge value for the voice of God. 

A big part of the church doesn’t even have a grid for the supernatural. 

THE CONTROVERSY OVER HEARING GOD SPEAK IS REALLY A NOT ABOUT THAT AT ALL. IT’S ABOUT TWO CAMPS IN THE CHURCH .⦁ THOSE WHO EXHIBIT GOD ⦁ THOSE WHO EXPERIENCE AND ENCOUNTER GOD 

I don’t believe the church of Jesus Christ should be a Holy museum but a living example. We are supposed to walk in full demonstration of the Lord. 

Should we exhibit God?
The Spirit of the Lord is being poured out into your life.

One of the things I can’t waste time about is the question of “is God is speaking or not?” Yes. Of course, God is speaking and it’s not the ceiling. It’s the floor. It’s not the advanced part of walking with God. It is, in fact, a very FOUNDATIONAL PRINCIPLE.  
Hebrews 6:1 – [The Peril of Not Progressing] Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God…
A very foundation principle is found in Matthew 16:17–18  – Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. 18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”
IT’S BEDROCK CHRISTIANITY.   IT’S CHRISTIANITY 101. 
The church whose foundation is built upon personal revelation of Jesus Christ by the mouth of God Himself is the church with break-through power. 
YOUR ABILITY TO GET PAST THE ENEMY’S BARRIERS (the gates of hell) IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO YOUR ABILITY TO HEAR GOD SPEAK.  
…and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. THAT DOESN’T MEAN THE CHURCH IS INVADING HELL. It means Heaven is invading earth. 
Hearing God speak and obeying what God is telling you gives you authority to bust through things. Heaven really invades earth when we hear God speak and we obey His voice.   
I am not sure I’m that church. 
Psalm 23:1-3  – The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake
Is the Lord your shepherd? Are you part of that church where the Lord is your shepherd? ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF JESUS? 
John 10:27 – My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me

ARE YOU THE FRIEND OF GOD?The first understanding of being a friend of God is that you relate to the fact that Jesus died for you.   
John 15:13  – Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 
The 2nd understanding of what it means to be the friend of God is that you lay down your life for Him. 
John 15:14  – You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 
FRIENDS, KNOW WHAT THE FATHER IS SPEAKING. 
John 15:15 – No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

Are you a child of God? Romans 8:14 – For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Galatians 3:26 – For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus
Everything of faith is developmental. 

Shocking as this may be to some – just because we receive the Lord does NOT mean   • we automatically become a mature Christian.  • we are automatically skilled in the Word of Righteousness.
“For every one that uses milk is UNSKILLFUL in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe … but strong meat belongs to them that are of a full age (mature), those who by PRACTICE (reason of use) have trained (exercised) their senses to be able to judge (discern) what is God (good) and what is not (evil). [Heb: 5:13-14]

There are things we can do TO INCREASE GOD’S VOICE IN YOUR LIFE. 

Set an Appointment (Exodus 19:10–11, 19) 
 Exodus 32:29 – For Moses had said, “Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD,….. that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day”.
THERE IS A SPECIAL BLESSING THAT ONLY COMES FROM TIMES OF WHAT THE BIBLE CALLS CONSECRATION.
Consecration is about an intentional posture toward God’s presence. It’s setting yourself apart in a specific way for God to bless you in a specific way. 
We only comprehend the goodness of God through personal encounter.Psalm 34:8 – O taste and see that the LORD is good.

Psalm 84:5 – Blessed is the man…whose heart is set on pilgrimage.
Luke 6:38 – “…For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Your value for the voice of God is in tandem with your value for the WORD OF GOD. 

Your value for the voice of God is in tandem with your value for THE HEART OF GOD. 

Your value for the voice of God is in tandem with your value for THE KINGDOM OF GOD.

The Lord is really involved in your life in a very personal way. 
There’s a strange word in the Bible that we find 15 times throughout scripture. Its a word called “firmament.”

Genesis 1:6-8And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.
If you want to see Heaven, you will find the details of the Kingdom in your firmament. 
Well, I don’t know what my firmament is.fir·ma·ment – noun* the heavens or the sky, especially when regarded as a tangible thing.* a sphere or world viewed as a collection of people.
Your culture, your family, your tribe, your co-workers, your church, your media, your entertainment
He literally puts His word and displays His character through the things going on in your life. His attributes, what He thinks, How He is and His Heart toward you can be seen though the world you are viewing.
Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse…
Everything in the Kingdom is relational before it is functional and your functional ability to hear God speak is directly related to your personal relationship with God. 
We will get back to that in just a minute.

One of the ways you learn how God is speaking through ordinary things is to learn to steward the word and search out the matter through extraordinary events.
